I was writing a review for another art store in KC & felt compelled to hop over here & leave one for this Michael's location. Let me start by saying I'd much prefer a small, family owned, non conglomerate type of store to shop at. This location is a little different, they are all very likable, great attitudes & are helpful. They don't make me feel that I am shopping at a chain (except those shirts) & make me feel at home. Talking to me when I come in, seeing what projects are in the works & what they can point me towards to help me out. Franky is always super helpful & she knows her stuff!
Stock is good most of the time, things are clean & the coupons are great! If they don't carry something I order it from somewhere online but overall they carry a lot of good paints, brushes, canvases, pads, markers, and all sorts of goodies for the artist. I greatly appreciate the staff there, I have been to a couple of others nearby that aren't the same, so the staff & management are doing things right!
After exiling my last art retailer I was happy to find a small friendly store within this chain! I have been redirecting friends from my old spot to here, Thanks Franky!
