After 11 years of taking my son to Lakewood Pediatrics, I received a letter saying they would no longer see my son- who has been their patient since he was 1 year-old. During a visit last month I asked the receptionist if we had any outstanding balance on our account. They said no. Apparently, a miscommunication from the back office to the front: I owed $16.76.
I called the billing/office manager to clear it up. She informed me that after 11 years of seeing my son the $16 and their policy was more important.
Is this the kind of place you want to take your children? Not me.
