I found a dress (sold by an individual) that I was really interested in and needed to try on. Both the dress seller and I own pets and didn't want to get pet hair on the dress. I called Apropos Alterations to call and see if I could try on the dress at the shop. I figured this was a possible win-win situation since if I got the dress (I'd win), I'd likely go to the shop for alterations (the shop would win). I am five feet tall and there would need to be plenty of expensive alterations. When I called to see if an appointment could be arranged (in which I would require the use of their mirrors for about 10 min), I was told they wanted to charge me $15 to TRY ON THE DRESS. Ridiculous, ludicrous, disgusting.
