I took my 2002 Dodge in for its first brakejob (72,000 miles) and suggested front and rear pad replacements. This is a vehicle with disc brakes on all four wheels. When I went to pick up my van I noted that the charges were about one-half of what I expected. I inquired and was told that the rear pads were only about 1/2 worn and thus not requiring replacement-- At 72M miles! They could have replaced pads on all four wheels but were honest enough to do only what was necessary. Thanks guys!
