I've been to the home many times. There is a fully-equipped kennel with six outdoor runs, not cages in a barn. The nursing pups are in the house with their mothers in the "puppy room", each family in its own enclosure (three at present). There is plenty of space for them. There are six or so older dogs who live inside and socialize with the human family. These are crate-trained. They are happy, friendly, healthy-looking dogs. The owner does her own grooming. The entire very large yard is fenced to allow the dogs to run free. I don't know about selling dogs under her kids' names. I don't know exactly how many dogs there are, but there are many. I'm not an expert, but I am a dog lover and nothing seems amiss to me. If this single mom of four is raking in the money, she's saving it or putting it back into her business. The family maintains a very moderate lifestyle.
