Katie and staff are top notch when it comes to cutting, styling, and any other service you might want to have. Not only will you feel warm and welcome upon entering the salon, you be be treated with a beverage of your choice. While you're being attended to, there are plenty of materials to read, none of which are out of date, which is refreshing. They really do care; even about the small things. Katie is a master at considering her clients and bringing out the absolute best look for her clients. You really do feel like a guest as opposed to just another number. I have watched several times, clients coming in and out and EVERYONE leaves looking and feeling like a celebrity. Going to ZIBA/Salon Atash will change your life. You will never want to leave. Not only will you be pleased with your hair services, you will be amazed at the threading services offered. Threading is a much more efficient way of hair removal, and is non-abrasive as opposed to waxing. My brows looked amazing! Katie has also created any type of hair product you might need. They smell great and it's so convenient to be able to get my products on my way out instead of having to make another stop at another store. AND... they smell AWESOME!!! After years of considering permanently straightening my hair, I took the plunge! I had never liked the results I had seen of the ""japanese"" system- fried, dull hair- shouldn't highlight it either with this older technique. Katie uses a new keratin based product that you can customize- you can get stick straight hair or leave a bit of relaxed wave, which I chose. It has changed my life literally. I can dry my hair in a fraction of the time without using a round brush and wearing myself out trying to get it straight and frizz-free. In stead of a summer of bad hair days my hair has looked great all summer. I cannot overstate how pleased I have been with the results. Katie is a genius with hair!!! I was a new student in town and I was desperately looking for a new hairdresser. Someone that could replace what I lost back home. When I came to Ziba I was amazed. I didn't just get a new hair cut, I got a new make-over and look. This experience wasn't like anything I'd ever had before. I got treated like I was the most important person in the whole room. The place itself was amazing. The salon was like a small boutique salon in Soho New York. It definitely reminds you of what you can see in Milan, Italy. I didn't have bangs and there they were. I needed some earings and they had them too. Not to mention I no longer have a uni-brow because of the amazing technique she used called Threading. I now have perfectly shaped eyebrows. I have been going to Ziba for couple of years now and it is the best Salon and Boutique. They have anything a girl needs and wants. Katie is most incredible Hair designer. I use to go to all the Salon's here in Nashville and they never satisfied me. But I came to Katie Mirian who did an amazing job on my hair. Also, amazingly i got all my wardrobe in Ziba. They have the best style and it fits for any occasion. When i am there i do not worry about anything. I get my hair done, my wardrobe, makeup, and accessories with the fabulous shoes and jewelry. Lastly, they are very friendly and professional. Pros: One stop shopping and service. Cons: Need more staff. more

Ziba International is a one-stop shop and a one-woman show, in effect. Katie Mirian sees a dozen or so clients a day, and she makes every one her project. Having one's hair done at Ziba is an ongoing process, like therapy. Kaite doesn't just cut people's hair; she reads people. Katie doesn't stint on advice, and she doesn't stop at hair. She tells her clients what they should wear, from clothes to glasses to jewelry, and she knows what's right for them because, invariably, she's seen beauty within them, for which fashion is a mirror. Ziba has so much too offer as a salon and boutique. Ziba carries clothing, jewelry, accessories, glasses and other items from around the world, all with one thing in common; they're cool! I believe everyone who like to take care of themselves should come and visit Ziba. Katie at Ziba is a true artist! She can cut your hair so that it is easy to style and always looks great. She keeps up with the latest styles and trends so you never look ""dated"". Ziba is a great place for jewerly, funky clothes, dresses and great deals. They have many one of a kind finds. They special ordered a dress for me with no problems and on short notice. Each time I called all employees were helpful and curtious. Finally got to visit in person and the same was true! I would recommend Ziba to anyone and they are a salon. If you have an idea for your hair Katie can create it! If you want designer's like Betsy Johnson and David Kahn jeans at a great price try Ziba. I am now a Ziba girl!!
