I bought a living social deal for a massage and when I called to make an appointment, she asked me right away if I was using a voucher. I knew I was in for trouble. When I told her I was, she refused to let me use it on a Sunday, stating that she has "football and baseball players come in on Sunday and pay $125 an hour," and "there are six other days in the week to use it," even though there was nothing on the certificate stating it couldn't be used on Sundays. She also told me that she only makes $15 off of those. I understand how they work, and was planning on tipping her well, however, I think it was extremely unprofessional of her to tell me that. I got a deal on Living Social and was a bit skepical, based on a recent review. Yes, the place is not a Massage Envy or Spa Siedel. But, that being said, I go for the massage and the value, not the fru-fru stuff that really doesn't matter. Marie was truly professional and one could tell that she really knew her stuff. I've been to the fru-fru places and more often that not, get a recent graduate that is more interested in going out that giving a good, quality massage. I'll going back. Thanks, Ginger. more

Marie is a very nice person and so was the other therapist, Malaria. I was very shocked when walking in, though, and seeing the facility. It's in the basement area of a chiropractic clinic that's in a red barn. It's very old and there are sheets up on the ceiling to try to hide the duct work. The rooms were very small and it was more like one bedroom divided into three sections...two massage rooms and a VERY small waiting area. The sheets on the bed were very worn (but clean I hope) and it just did not feel professional at all. I had bought a massage through the Atlanta Daily Deals, and checked out the reviews to be sure it was a good place to go. I don't think the reviewers on here are being totally honest. I have many massages before, so I know what a spa is supposed to look like. The only bathroom was up a steep flight of stairs in the chiropractor's office. It just felt dirty and I was very uncomfortable the entire time. The massage did not feel like it was being given by a licensed massage therapist, so I walked away wondering if they are licensed there. Like I said, Marie is a very nice lady, but I cannot recommend this business. more

When I come to Marie I have tension everywhere because of stress, but when I leave her I feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready to start all over again. I have been seeing Marie for Lypossage Body Contouring for 4 weeks now and have lost 6 inches on my legs and my tummy is getting sexier too. I have dropped 2 pant sizes. I am loving body again!!! I started off with a spa facial, then a 90 minute massage, body exfoliation treatment, body wrap and ended with a paraffin treatment. What a relaxing day, especially after cooking for 50 people on hanksgiving. Everything was just perfect, inside is just beautifully decorated, the treatments were superb and relaxing. The massage was just the right pressure where often in other offices they were a little to light, like they were going to break me. Marie the therapist communicated with me on the pressure. I used Marie for my beauty needs for my wedding last year. They were fabulous. On time and very professional. They came out with a full team to do massages, facials, hair, makeup, mani's and pedi's. It was a full day of fun and relaxation before my wedding. My bridal party absolutely loved it! Since then, I continue to see Marie on a weekly basis for massages. I came to this office by accident several months ago because my dog was in obedience training. I have a high stress job, my neck and shoulders are always like rocks, work the midnight shift. I have tried the discount massage therapy offices, but I have come to the conclusion you get what you pay for. I have learned how to manage my stress a liitle better with the helpful tips Marie has shared with me. I would rather not splurge on Starbucks and get my massage. I came to Marie because I was getting ready for a triathalon. Sometimes I take my body to the very edge and have injured myself on several occassions because I didn't stretch enough.
