If jazz is your thing, look no further.. 7/10/2002

I've been to ZB about a half dozen times and I have yet to be disappointed. The food is exquisite and the service exceptional. ZB offers a relaxed sophistication that I have yet to find elsewhere. Pros: great smooth jazz, excellent service, exquisite food Cons: parking pricey more

The food was so-so and the music while good was so loud the no comment could be made except between numbers and no conversation could be had until the set was completed. I have been to Zanzibar blue several times this month and loved it. The ambience fit the mood with live jazz and delicous meals that were almost sinful. I highly recomment Zanzibar for everyone who wants more than just a meal when going out to dine. Pros: live music, food, service more

don't waste your time 6/13/2002

My past two experiences at Zanzibar Blue have been horrible-service was rude, my reservation was 'lost' and we were refused a seat, and in one case, when we asked to see a menu, we were not allowed. I agree that the food is good, and music is fun (when they will let you in) but the customer service leaves a great deal to be desired. Don't bother making reservations--they don't matter, the couple that came in behind me (without a reservation) was seated without a problem. Cons: service more

I have been to Zanzibar Blue on a few occasions and have always been pleased. From the moment you walk in the door there's a sultry vibe about the place. The last time I was there I had the lamb; amazing. more
