unique retailer w/excellent customer service 2/4/2009

Zanadia has been one of only a few retailers that carried a particular scented candle that I was searching for. They have a unique offering of bath/beauty/fragrance product lines-- typically higher end gift items. In terms of service I found them to be very responsive and attentive to any requests or inquiries made. I'd highly recommend this unique retailer. more

Glad I decided to usa Zanadia! 2/7/2007

I was in search of a puff chair and found a couple sites that offered a cheaper price than Zanadia but had horrible ratings and did not seem reputable. I decided to order my puff chair and ottoman from Zanadia because they seemed more trustworthy. I had my chair in exactly one week, which is impressive considering most furniture takes much longer to receive. It arrived in perfect condition and was packed very well and easy to assemble. I would definitely order from this company again. more

A sham!!! 10/28/2006

If you order Votivo candles from Zanadia, don't expect to receive the correct ones! I ordered candles as a show of appreciation for some friends as a gift and for myself and both orders included the incorrect candles. As a "good will" offering, Votivo said I could keep the incorrect candle for 30% off. It is my opinion Zanadia deliberately ships the incorrect items in order to pawn off their overstock. Stay away from this shady little outfit! more

Zanadia On the Ball! On top of things! Excellent! 8/17/2006

Zanadia contacted me personally by phone to tell me they were temporarily out of stock on one thing I had ordered,, in minutes of my internet transaction. ( I understand the chore it must be to keep the online website database correct with all the products.) We found a solution quickly and also they helped me discoverthe product line...I was orderin called Voluspa more personally. http://www.voluspacandles.com/ The Zanadia staff really does an outstanding job! Lovely Experience 7/17/2006

Customer service is A+. This was the first time that I had shopped this store. Since I live in New Orleans the internet makes it possible to explore other wonderful stores. Speedy delivery by UPS. When I am in Seattle I will make it a point to visit them in person. Come visit us in the Big Easy. Things are getting back to normal. more

finally! the return of customer service! 7/6/2006

What a refreshing experience to shop on zanadia.com. Their website is clear, concise and user friendly. There aren't a million steps to get through to the purchasing part, and it's clear when you've finished the final step. Plus, I happened to choose a color that is no longer available in the hobo int'l collection, and actually got a phone call telling me that they had even contacted hobo to try and get a hold of one for me, but to no avail. I quickly made a second choice and the gal on the end of the line said she was shipping it out that very day! What a delightful experience. I am definitely shopping at zanadia.com again! more

Refreshing customer service 7/4/2006

I shop Zanadia from Boston -- first because their prices on Votivo candles beat those of a local merchant but now because of their customer service. I had placed an order that included one scent Zanadia was out of. They actually called me to ask if I'd like to substitute a candle or wait for their stock to be replenished. How great that they cared enough to call. more

Excellent customer service and great products. I had only purchased candles, lotions and soap, and handbags before but I have now branched out into furniture and they continue to impress me. I would refer Zanadia to all of my friends without hesitation! more

Votivo Bar Soap is dreamy 5/18/2006

I was visiting family in Santa Maria, California. While on a wine tasting tour of the region, I stopped into a small gift shop and found Votivo. I am a soap connoisseur, and I must say that using Vitivo's St. Germain-en-Laye Lavender bar soap is close to a religious experience. As soon as I got home, I went to the Internet to find this product. This is how I found Zanadia.com. I am deeply impressed with the range and quality of products found at this site. The web site is very easy to navigate, and the ordering process very simple. The email notifications are excellent, even providing routing numbers so shipments can be tracked. I would rate the products and the web site excellent. I would like to recognize all the staff of Zanadia for making this an excellent shopping experience. -- Barbara more

Great hard to find candles! 4/22/2006

I love the fact that zanadia sells voluspa candles. They are a monthly treat for me now that I found a merchant that has them! They pack their orders very well and they have a fabulous variety of scents! I guess this means that "I love Voluspa = I love Zanadia.com"! more

Great customer service! 4/4/2006

I recently received an order from Zanadia.com and found out it was the wrong item -- I had picked the wrong one, not their fault. I emailed them asking about an exchange and they have been so helpful and friendly. The thing I like the most about their system is that unlike Zappos.com when you make a return that is a gift they don't have to return the item to the credit card that made the purchase and then charge the card again to "sell" the other item to you, it is a straight exchange. I would definitely recommend this site again for gifts, handbags, etc. Great service! more

You have to shop here! 3/9/2006

I CANNOT BELIEVE how many different Hobo bags they have at this store! I'm addicted to them--this is the perfect place to feed my addiction. Better than Nordstrom's. They have a lot of unusual gift ideas too...I've brought my girlfriends here to shop and they keep coming back. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable (they know all the handbags by name!) and if you stop by more than once they are sure to remember you. more

I went to school with the girls that this store was named after. It is such a great place, it has wonderful things for you or as a gift. It is located in Wallingford, and has been there for years. It is a small business that earns wonderful support from the surrounding community, and if you are ever in the neighborhood you should for sure stop by. more

Zanadia is a real gift store! A great place for whatever the occasion! They have truly unique gifts. You will likely not only find the gift you are looking for you will end up picking something up for yourself! Zanadia has been a staple in the Wallingford Center for years and has some really cool stuff. They carry not only the basics (candles, cards, pottery, glass items, jewelry, art, books), but also carry lamps, furniture, and other home decor). We have even bought paint for our home there. Then only drawback is prices are definitely pricey on the majority of items. Example $28 for a avg sized candle? Not sure I understand that reasoning but the candles do smell good! If you have not been to Wallingford Center you are missing out. It is an old school building which has been converted into a truly unique shopping space. more
