Yujean Kang's has always been a great place where you can get lunch & dinner, artful, tasty food elegantly served at reasonable prices. But a friend and I had a real problem there...

The best restaurant in Old Town 7/19/2002

Never a disappointment, always a pleasure. Dumplings in chili oil, sui mai, veal, lamb, beef dishes, Chinese polenta--all of Yujean Kang's signature dishes are stand-outs and innovative without resorting to gimmicks. Old Town Standout 7/1/2002

Yujean Kang's is simply one of the best restaurants in Old Town and in my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles. The restaurants take on Chinese food, is fresh, creative and quite tasty. The service matchs the food and is impecable. If you get one dish, get the Sizzling Beef and the Glazed Cashew Nut Chicken (I know I listed two, you can't just get one dish -- its so good!). Enjoy!
