We bought a seaspray pool today, I am so excited but I really would like to thank them for the good customer service and personal attention that my Husband and I received. I would personally like to thank our salesman Keith we got the pool we wanted and did not have to settle for any less and at a price we could afford he worked hard to get us set up just want to say thank you. more

Worst experience 8/3/2010

I have been going to Working Mans for quite a while since before the son took it and even now after Janet is back. They falsely advertise the price of the chlorine, in big letters it says CHLORINE $3.58..... Thats it, I brought them my 5 jugs they filled them, I go inside and when they ring them up its $4 half dollars.... No where is this advertised. They are rude, they dont care to help, how you stay in business like that, I dont know. Bold City Hardware right down the way on normandy sells chlorine for $3.25 a jug no hassle. The guy in there named Chuck knows what hes doing and will now have my business. Stop by both places and then tell me where youll be going back to. Pros: Close by Cons: No customer service, no values more

No customer service at all!!! 6/14/2010

I have been a customer of Working Man's for 12 years. The door's to the company were closed in '09 and I felt I lost a good neighborhood store. After dealing with other pool supplier's, it was good to see Working man's open again. That was untill Sat. June 12th. I visited Working man's to purchase 8 jug's of cholrine. The sign outside, viewed from the street is $3.58 a jug. No indication outside of any ""program"" or ""pre pay"" system. After I had the jug's filled, and went to check out, I was charged $4.29 per jug. I was told that the $3.58 was for ""prepaid"" customers. I asked to have the lower price honered since I was unaware, and was expecting to pay what was advertised from the street. The owner Mrs. Janet Williamson quickly made me aware that I was not important to her as a customer by flat refusing to honer anything. I told her that I would not purchase from her, and she asked if I think I could buy cholrine any cheaper from any place else. I told her I was buying it at Bold City Supply for $3.25 a jug. This only made Janet more upset. As a loyal customer, I was willing to pay more from Working Man's because of the relationship over the last 12yrs. I am now a loyal customer of Bold City Suppy. It is just up the road on Normandy blvd, so it is not out of the way, I highly recommend everyone check out the new supplier. I am sorry for the Williamson's, but it is truely time to retire!! As a business owner, once you have lost the customer service attitude, you have lost what it takes to stay in business. Pros: Other pool suppliers near by Cons: Need to retire. Too moody to run a company. more

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!!! Former Owners Are Back!!!!!!!!!!!! 5/3/2010

As of December 2009 the former owners, Mr. Dave and Ms. Janet Williamson, have been in full possession and control of the store and grounds at Working Mans Pool and Spas, and they have been open for business since the 9th of March 2010. They are trying very hard to change the opinion of customers that were wronged by their son and his business associates. They cannot fix all the wrong doings but they can be given their own fair chance at earning your business and your respect once again. They had it before, don't let it lapse now. Dave, Janet, Robbie and Mike are doing their own personal best to rebuild the former business from the ashes left in the wake. Don't jugde them from the actions of the former ""gentlemen"" that were there. Let them show you the difference in person. I guarentee you'll like the change. Come in and see me...........Robbie Pros: We know who has integrity, knowledge and pride Cons: We know who not to trust in business or otherwise more
