Installation of TurfStone Driveway 1/23/2014

Woody and his team installed a Turfstone driveway across our sideyard to a new outbuilding for us. Turfstone is a thick paver you can drive on yet grow grass in and still looks like yard. His crew was very careful, did an awesome job, and "toughed it" working outside during the hard cold period in December. Would hire team Woody again any day! more

Failing wooden retaining wall replaced with Manor Stone. 1/15/2014

My wooden retaining wall, built 20 years ago was failing. Woody was recommended to us by the Fenceman. It was a difficult job becasue he had to work around existing structures. Woody's estimate was fair and professionally done. The work crew was courteous and careful in their work. They were also fastidious in their cleaning up after the job. The wall is beautiful and much sturdier than my original. I'll never need to worry about it failing. more

Landscaping Backyard 12/11/2013

I was really impressed with the job that Woody's crew did in our backyard. Our largest challenge was the varying levels of ground in our backyard. Not only did we have a low to high grade North to South, we also had a low to high grade West to East. So, we needed to overcome multiple grading levels, multiple retainer systems and replace a wooden deck with a paver deck. The crew was fast, efficient, respectful of all our needs. Our original plans did run into challenges, but Woody and his crew were able to creatively adapt. We were extremely happy with results and although this was completed just before Thanksgiving and we can not enjoy effect of the plants and their color. I am excited to see the colors in spring. more

Total Front Yard Landscaping Project 11/27/2013

We used Woody to remove our existing landscape, clean up drainage issues, revamp irrigation, lighting, and reinstall all grass and plants. Woody, and his team, did a great job. All projects/plans have minor adjustments that need to made during the process and Woody was excellent to work with in making those adjustments. His attendence to detail was much appreciated. We would recommend Woody for any of your landscaping needs. more

We Love Our Pond 9/10/2013

Woody and his crew came to our place and rebuilt our pond. We chose Woody to do the work because he was enthusiastic about the project. He told us what he could do and gave us a lot of ideas to work with. He took our input and delivered. We love our pond and the waterfalls that pour into it. My wife and I go out each evening and feed the goldfish we put into it. We have some wild frogs that are making it their home. Thanks, Woody, for a job well done. more

Great job 8/11/2013

Woody and his team created a wonderful living space for us in our backyard. The land was on a slant and full of weeds. They excavated the area flat and added a beautiful paver stone patio with a bench and flower beds. They also removed our front lawn and laid mounded dirt over the rocky top soil in the front yard and placed drip lines throughout. The front yard looks really nice and the plants like the new dirt. They went over the budgeted time allotment because of a conflict with another job. We will be hiring them again to create another terrace in the backyard. Everyone was great to work with. I would recommend Woody's Custom Landscaping. more

True Professionals 7/20/2013

In 1993 Woody was recommended to me as a man that could take on a large project. We were not disappointed. Koi pond, boulders,trees, grass, lighting, sprinkling all done within buget. I just recently called Woody after 20 years to come back and do some upgrades including all new plantings, led lighting, and new sod. Once again we were pleased with the outcome. Neat, clean and fast! more

I had some overgrown shrubs removed and needed someone to come in and landscape the bare area. I was referred to Woody's Landscaping, they said he was the best. Woody came over and gave me his ideas and sent me an estimate. He did an amazing job. His crew came in and worked in the pouring rain and got the job done quickly and neatly. Great job with hardscaping and landscaping 6/2/2013

Woody and his crew hardscaped and landscaped our yard. Woody's ideas to control excess water runoff worked wonderfully. Reused stone material in other parts of the yard so we had less waste when the job was completed. His crew were efficient and professional and we will work with Woody again. more

Highly professional, good follow-up care 5/18/2013

We had Woody's out to re-grade our slow-flowing drainage ditch, add a drain pipe and river rock, and as a separate job we also had them re-do our long flagstone pathway. The ditch is still slow in spots, but there has been definite improvement. The prices were fair, the workers seemed competent, and when we called months later with a couple of issues Woody came right out to check it out and fix it. Overall it was a good experience. more

We had them replace our lawn with sod. I was particularly impressed with the fact that he was a contractor that came and was present while the work was being done. It all turned out just fine, they got it all done in half a day. more

The only Landscaper I have 100 confidence in 3/26/2013

Woody's installed our landscaping several years ago, decorative walls, pathways, planters, irrigation system and turf. They did a beautiful job. Always on time, professional, polite, tidy and in general with admirable work ethics. I have since had other landscapers do work but never with the same results or satisfaction. I recently hired Woody's again and had the same results as the first time. I will continue to call them for any ammendments to my yard. more

Hillside Renovation 2/27/2013

We live in a somewhat remote area which most landscapers decide is too far to drive. Not Woody. He and his crew were here early every day and put in a full days work, completing a fairly large project in about a week. It's hard to believe the transformation on the hillside behind our house. Now it's another living space instead of just a blackberry patch. We would highly recommend Woody's Custom Landscaping for their professionalism, expertise, and good old-fashioned work ethic which is hard to come by these days. more
