I couldn't agree more with the previous review by Pcubed. This company is Aweful and one of the worst I have dealt with. I also had Charlie come out and promise me the world pretty much. Nobody at this company or the contractors knew what was going on. The Project manager didn't even know anything. No communication what-so-ever. Good luck trying to get a call back and the dates keep geting pushed back and back. I ended up paying for extra pavers because supposedly they order extra pallets of material just in case. You never get credited for the extra material they order and they take it away. They were also supposed to spread some loam in where they dug up the lawn so that I could plant grass seed. What they delivered was un-screened, rocky, crap loam that I spent weeks screening to try to plant grass. They promised me that my yard would look like they were never there and everything would be beautiful...Not so much! This company has changed names a few times in the past few years...There's something to be said about that. I'm sure they have since changed their name again or will be shortly because they are scammers and thieves! more

If it was possible to give less than 1 star, believe me I would. This company is one of the worst companies out there. Charlie Sullivan was the owner/salesperson who came to my house originally. I stated some concerns having to do with bad reviews that I had read. I only wish I listened to my gut, and not let him persuade me into believing that they were unwarranted. He lies about the timeline of a job, the quality of the job, as well as the materials/goods being used for the job. He quoted me a 3 week timeline for my job, which after three months and countless phone calls was never completed. I specified the doors I wanted for the job, and gave him the catalog of said doors to be ordered. Not only did he get me CHEAP off the rack doors from a warehouse, he got two different doors, as well as doors that aren't the right size. (He had the contractors TRY and make them fit). He didn't pull the permits, (which resulted in a stop work action), he then had a permit pulled by someone that never came to the job, didn't answer phone calls, and had more stories than Aesop. Now I know people lie, but when you start telling tales of family members having deadly diseases, (which as it turned out wasn't true), I draw the line. Bottom line is this guy is one of the biggest thieves out there, and doesn't have any moral compass at all. You can promise 100% satisfaction guaranteed, but if you have no intention of standing behind your work or your word, a guarantee means absolutely nothing. Upon filing with the attorney general's office, I have found out quite a bit more about him and his company. I urge anyone checking on this company to stay as far away from them as possible. In addition, I have now been contacted by two of the men who worked on my house (not the original crew he introduced me to), who are telling me that they never came to finish the job because he never paid them for the work they had already done. So, this guy walks away with all the money, and you end up with a job not completed. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this guy as possible. You'll be saving yourself a lot of aggravation as well as money. If you have had a bad experience with him in the past, I urge you to either contact the attorney general's office, (the list is getting longer every day), or reply to this review or the many other ones out there. more

We recently had an excellent experience with local basement contractor in Canton. We live in JP and own a very old house with a stone foundation. Lots of space but difficult to remodel. Several contractors walked away from the project because of the numerous pipes and uneven walls. Woodstone was the only company that could see through the probelm and provide a complete solution for our basement. We had a few water leaks, moldy smell and very cold. The owner of the company and his lead carpenter truly performed miricales for us. We now have an office, large family / TV area, storage and plenty of lighting. When I show our friends the before and after pictures that we took during the project they cant believe the difference.. Its is now the most used space in our home. We are very happy and would gladly recommend Woodstone to anyone looking for a true ""all in one"" design and build firm. Especially if you have a challenging basement to fix. more
