In ShortThis large, 188-acre facility (including the zoo) has multiple personalities. Amateur athletes play organized sports with abandon. Picnickers, walkers and cyclists wander through the hilly woods in upper Woodland Park. Packed in all kinds of weather, the seven lighted sports fields and tennis courts along Green Lake Way North have staged performances of just about every sports league in town. Beyond the fields, serious cyclists fly off the makeshift BMX hills.
