Poor customer serivce. We paid $200 for 5/23/2012

Poor customer serivce. We paid $200 for a trip for two. We scheduled our trip last weekend but unfotunately couldnt make it due to an emergency. It clearly states in their policy there are no refunds for missed tours, but nothing about rescheduling. We contacted them to explain and try to reschedule but they do not reschedule missed tour or give discounts for giving up $200 to them for soing nothing. Talk about getting ripped off. more

A Good Trip...... 1/26/2012

My brother and I decided to take the full-day Napa Valley Winery Tour (the 4 Winery tour with SF Bay Ferry ride) back in October, 2011. The shuttle bus operator was friendly enough, and the Wineries were beautiful. Wish we could have spent more time at them. The only problem was that we missed the ferry ride on the way back. I think the ferry company changed the schedule, and we just missed it. However, the company did do the right thing and gave us a partial refund. As I said, it's a nice tour (and reasonably priced) if you're looking for an all day guided trip. more

give this a miss 12/12/2011

If you value your safety then give this a miss the drive appeared to be a little tipsy and several times he hit the curb when he was pulling over. What a nightmare! he was grumpy and kept asking for tips and this made the whole experience rather distasteful. more

Great tour, totally worth the time and the money. 8/30/2009

Friendliness of staff at Domaine Chandon, V.Sattui and Black Stallion. Eric was a fantastic host with lots of information and great organization. Suggestion: emphasize to patrons that tasting before eating at V.Sattui will allow you to choose a bottle for a lunch paring. Have a bottle opener and glasses on the bus! Pros: No walking needed!! more

Wonderful Introduction to San Francisco! 7/26/2009

Loved getting off the shuttle and experiencing the sites. This tour hits all the major spots and gave us an idea of where we wanted to go back to attend. Our tour guide knew a lot about the history of San Fran which is very interesting. Everyone was friendly and tour was easy to find. Left on time and returned on time. Great tour. Highly recommend! Pros: Knowlegeable Tour Guide more

If you have never been to Napa or have done a wine tour this 7/4/2009

This is a great tour for first time wine tasters, like myself. The scenic drive to Napa is beautiful. Our tour guide was knowledgeable with all the different towns we passed thru. The picnic lunch was fabulous. This is a must. Pros: picnic lunch, ferry. Cons: having to pay for wine tasting. more

You Won't Find a Better Sightseeing Tour 12/25/2008

I read all the reviews and then went on this tour and we really like it a lot. It was more than a highlights tours. When we went to dinner that evening our local friends were surprised by how much we saw and knew about San Francisco after the tour. I think we know more than some of our local friends. Friendly service and the bottle water was a great touch. Hats off to our guide and driver. Pros: Small Bus Cons: Parking in SF can be high. more

Great Great Tour! 12/17/2008

Just a great tour that makes lots of tour stops and has a boat cruise during the tour. Stopping in Sausalito was a highlight. These guys are experts. We didn't go on their other tours but we wish we had. Pros: Lots of stops Cons: none i can think of. more

Great Great Tour! 12/17/2008

This was excellent. Way beyond what we had expected. Having the guide be dedicated to that task was excellent. Thank you for the many stops and opportunities to leave the shuttle for exploring and picture taking. The guide was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the areas that we visited. Highlights would be Palace of Fine Arts, Golden Gate Park, and Alamo Park. Thank you for having water available. That was perfect! We have told many people about this tour. We are looking forward to our next visit to San Francisco. Just an absolutely great san francisco tour. Pros: Lots of stops Cons: none i can think of. more

Fabulous Shuttle Tour! 12/16/2008

San Francisco Shuttle Tours was just an amazing experience. They made so many tour stops and they had this great ferry cruise - we could not say anymore. We think their driver and tour guide really helped make the day special. The knowledge and performance during the tour was memorable. I would compare this to a broadway show and I don't think that is going too far. Best San Francisco Tour! Pros: Many Tour Stops Cons: No cokes, just water on board. more

Outstanding Tour! Outstanding Tour Company! 5/18/2008

Outstanding! Lots of great tour stops. I think we made like 10 great stops with really amazing narrative from the Tour Guide. I was happy they had a different driver from the Tour Guide. This company is all around the best from the ordering process, tour launch, tour start and end. I think it's great they use a ferry as part of their tour too. I was surprised how much we enjoyed this tour! Pros: More Tour Stops and Ferry Boat Cruise Cons: Can't think of any! Had too good of a time. more

Overall a good tour for those not terribly familiar with the area 2/15/2008

We were originally booked on the Muir Woods Combo Tour, but the day before they called to cancel and offered us the five hour City Tour that was basically the same thing without Muir Woods. I suspect they cancelled Muir Woods due to not enough participants. They were very pleasant and extremely professional, and the difference in price between the two tours was immediately refunded to my credit card. Pros: You see a lot in a comfortable setting Cons: Not enough time in some spots, too much in others more

A very good comprehensive but quick tour 2/13/2008

I did the comprehensive San Francisco tour and the Muir woods tour combo. The tour gives you a very good quick visit to all the major sites in San Fran. I started my trip with this tour so I could figure out where I wanted to spend more time for the rest of the trip. Loved that I didn't have to figure out how to get around on the streets or park! Would recommend this tour to other visitors who would like a one day tour to see most of the main sites. The Muir woods tour was also quick, wish I had more time in the park. But the views were absolutely worth it. Again, loved not having to drive the curving, steep roads with cliffs on one side. If I had to do it again, I would take these tours, but do it on separate days. more

Amazing Wine Country Tour! 2/9/2008

This tour was perfect. They went to great Napa Valley wineries (some I had never heard of before) that generously poured us lots of great wine. I think the Picnic Lunch and the 1 hour Ferry Cruise was just perfect fit for a great day in Napa Valley. We did winery tours, had lots of great narrative from their wine country tour guide and more. I think very highly of this company. Pros: Great wineries, Picnic Lunch and Ferry Cruise was Great! Cons: Long Day, but the Wine Country is 90 minutes away so... more

Really Great Tour!! Made Lots of Stops! 2/9/2008

I can't think of a better time touring a city than what we had here with San Francisco Shuttle Tours. I noticed they use a different Tour Guide from Driver. We also had a different Tour Guide on the bay cruise. We made lots of tour stops and got lots of variety with this San Francisco Tour. They also have a Wine Country Tour called Wine Country Tour Shuttle and a Muir Woods Tour that I did not go on but they looked really good. I recommend this companies tours - big time! Pros: Many Tour Stops, Lots of Variety, Free Drinks Cons: None I can think of. more

Absolutely Amazing Tour!! 6/7/2006

Had the best time on this tour. I really recommend it. The tour guides are great and the stops they make were even better. From Grace Cathedral to the Cable Car Barn Museum - this tour has it all! LOVED IT! Pros: Thumbs up!! Tour Guide and stops were great Cons: Maybe instead of free cokes and water - how about more
