Nice auto repair place 12/19/2006

My husband & I have both had good experiences with Windermere. They're friendly, and they've done a great job with our repair work. Additionally, we've called on multiple occasions for price quotes and they always call back quickly with a thorough quote. I can't really speak to their prices, because I haven't had a lot done anywhere else in town for comparison, but the one time that we've had a problem that was questionably their fault (not ours), they fixed it for free. more

'76 Service Station with Heart 8/19/2005

What appears at first glance to be a slightly upscale gas station in a decidedly upscale neighborhood turns out to offer above average service with a smile – and heart. While gas prices are gas prices are gas prices, the service part of the station has helped us out of jams on several occasions while charging little to nothing. They’ve fixed flats for next to nothing right on the spot. The manager personally poked around under the hood on the spot after we pulled over with a sticky accelerator. It took him all of five minutes to find and fix the problem (a deteriorated plastic boot that was jamming the accelerator cable), and he charged us NOTHING. Another time, when Operator Error caused us to misjudge our range and our electric car was low on juice, they allowed us to plug in and charge up. All this with aplomb and a smile. Nice, nice folks. more
