I may be no gourmet chef... 4/13/2006

but Williams and Sonoma stores even excite me-- the girl who eats cereal for two meals a day! Even my untrained eye can tell that their products are high-quality, there silvers classic, and their oils/spices/etc delightful to taste. This may lead to higher prices, but in my opinion, some of the cooking ware will last for ages, so it is worth it I especially love in the Christmas holiday season how they have free samples of the most delicious spiced apple cider, at least at the downtown store. The delight of spiced apples can be smelled down the escalators during that time of the year. Williams and Sonoma will definitely furnish my future kitchen! more

Cook's paradise. 3/26/2006

Williams-Sonoma is such an awesome store. I love to cook and bake so my husband and I decided to register here for our wedding. It was such a joy to see all the things out guests bought us from there... you could tell they were very comfortable shopping wtih Williams-Sonoma. This is a great source for high-quality balsalmic vinegars and olive oils, not to mention more obscure items such as lavendar sea-salt and margarita salts. more

Neat stuff for cooks, but a bit pricey 12/22/2005

I love to browse Williams Sonoma and soak in all their seasonal colors and flavors. Its the perfect place to pop by and pick up some fancy mustard and a cute little serving dish and spoon for a party, gourmet oils and sauces, and specialty baking items. I find that their prices are pretty hefty, but its a treat that anyone who loves to cook should afford themselves once in awhile. They have luxurious selections of cookware, dishes, and flatware for the home, and little things to make your kitchen feel like a special place. Sign up for their catalog, it has recipes every 10 pages to inspire your cooking, and it has tantalizing photography that will make your mouth water. more
