On my last visit, my wife and I sat at the bar for a cocktail and an order of onion rings. Wildwood should take a lesson from Burgerville! The onion rings were greasy, burnt, chopped up clumps. The rings at Burgerville are better quality and better value. At the fine dining level, it's all about the details, and on this vist the details were not delivered. We complained to the bartender, and he said he would mention it to the kitchen, but he didn't really offer anything more. That is kind of weak from a customer service perspective. I thought this was supposed to be one of the best restaurants in the city.
Pros: nice ambience, good wine selection, good bar
Cons: bad onion rings, cocky servers, absentee chef
