Best

Been going to this waterpark for many years with my family. Now that I have a family of my own this place still has a place in my heart. Rides are great, lines are manageble, an...

Worst

I visited this park today becuase we got free passes from our tire dealer. If I had paid I would be really upset right now. Cons: high high prices. go to the beach instead!!

Great park for the Summertime 7/13/2011

Lines are ok, rides are great, and the people working there are cool..good times had by all. Got 15% off our general admission tickets because we bought it off a site called discounts4fun. We also got a $10 wahoo's gift card because of that transaction. more

A great way to cool off 7/10/2011

it's a great way to have fun in the summer time, and if you have passes, you are in luck! Great deals and the shortest lines ever! more

We native Californians don't go to water parks, or stupid tourist traps like the overpriced water park you mentioned. They are there to keep all the dipshits from other states like Texas corralled in one place and off our beaches and mountains. more

Great Deals! 5/25/2011

Wild Rivers is the best waterpark in OC and it is officially their last season! Get great deals by purchasing online at discounts4fun or on wild river's website with promo code BEACH2 more

Be Careful 8/27/2010

I write this review purely as a warning. WR is a great place to enjoy your summer. We have been season pass holders for years. Lately, the customer base has changed drastically. Crime within the park has started occurring. The security staff is ill equipped to handle it. Do not for any reason leave unattended bags in the children's area of the park(river area), This is where the thieves are targeting. It is not just petty theft. They steal the obvious.......wallets, ipods, cash, etc. THEY ALSO STEAL CARS. The cameras in the parking lot don't work. They take the car keys out to the lot and just start pressing until they find it. They took mine one afternoon between 3 and 5 PM two weeks after stealing four or five other peoples personal bags. My car ended up stripped in Santa Ana. SAPD does not even print the cars when recovered so the thieves can steal with impugnity. I grew up in SA so I can tell you that the gang tattooed guys I saw at WR that day were from Santa Ana. Use a locker even if you only bring car keys into the park. My bag only had a small amount of cash and car keys. They like Chevys.....big ones,....trucks, suburbans, avalanches and tahoes. Good Luck and stay attentive. more

Best Waterpark Around! 7/8/2008

I take my children to Wild Rivers almost 3 times a month if not more! I know I can take them there and we are guaranteed a safe and fun time. The rides are great the water is clean the lines aren't too long and the staff there is soo helpful! Pros: The fun atmosphere and friendly staff Cons: summer doesnt last all year more

mixed 8/24/2006

A small step up from Hurricane Harbor and a giant step down for mankind... err... from Raging Waters. There are some good slides, but overall, it's pretty dinky and by the scent of the lazy river, it seems as though some intertubed guests got a little too lazy. more

expensive, dated feel, many fees 8/19/2006

Raddest Place EVER 5/31/2006

As a teenager, I lifeguarded here for a few summers. Now, as a college student, it's a must-do when I come home for a summer. The place is a TOTAL blast. Pros: Surf Hill, Short Lines, SURF HILL more

NO LINES 8/13/2002

Wild Rivers is the all-time best water park in Southern California, at most water parks you stand in line till you are completly dry waiting to get on the next ride, not at Wild Rivers. They do have cool rides, If they could only take some of the rides out of Raging Waters and add it would be awsome. Don't forget to try the Bazooka Bowls. Pros: Inexpensive for food more

  • The Appeal
This park may not be the biggest player in town, but Wild Rivers has found its niche with younger kids (under 8 or so). A vigilant lifeguard staff and plenty of smaller-scale...
