Wild Ginger has never disappointed! I went because I saw a review in 5280 magazine and they were spot on. The coconut icecream is a must for dessert!

Can't Wait to Go Back 7/14/2011

I have tried many Thai restaurants in the Denver area and Thai Ginger is the best! We went for lunch and it was busy but the service was quick and we never ran out of drinks which is important when eating Hot and Thai Hot from here. The spice was intense but not overpowering The flavors were fantastic Going back next week for another lunch and can't wait more

Denver Best Thai Food 1/29/2011

Went for the first time with my uncle for lunch, but it was so good I went back that evening for dinner. more

Great Food, Great Price 1/16/2011

We went to Wild Ginger at the suggestion of a friend. We were more than pleased with what we found. The menu was extensive and varied. The food was well prepared and tasty. The service was extraordinary! I think every employee in the place must have asked twice if we needed anything and if the food was good. We'll be back again, even though we live in another area of Denver metro. more

SOOOOOOOOOOO delicious! my boyfriend and i go here regularly, this is where he took me on our first date, very smooth.\r \r The pad thai is amazing, if you get it thai hot you can expect your mouth to be on fire. The curry is also very good. portions are a fair size and prices are reasonable. also great won ton appetizers :) Pros: great atmosphere, romantic, amazing food, good service Cons: not much parking when it's busy more

Love this Place! 3/6/2008

I truly love Wild Ginger! I think they have the best curry in the Denver area and I have tried several places. I live downtown, so I have to travel for it, but it is well worth it! I have never been disapointed! Pros: Curry! Everything I've had on the menu is great! more

WILD GINGER GREAT THAI! 7/24/2007

We had a big group goto Wild Ginger on Saturday night July 21, 2007 of about 25 people. The service was awesome and the food was outstanding! They were able to break the bill up between tables of 4 which helped our group out. This was the first stop of a search for the best Thai in Denver.\r \r You get tons of food for the price and the atmosphere is great.\r \r I highly recommend this place for groups or just a couple.\r \r Jamie and Meet in Denver Pros: Able to accomidate large group, good sized dishes, good service. Cons: only one waiter for group. more

Awesome Thai Food 4/22/2007

I have been to some pretty good Thai restaurants but this is the best! I have been to Thai Spice and Tast of Thailand among others. Once I tried the Chicken Masaman at Wild Ginger I was sold...It is the best curry I have ever tried...chunks of chicken and potato in a peanut curry sauce over rice...AMAZING!!! Also, the Chicken Pad Thai is awesome with a hint of lime and sweetness....I like hot stuff so I ordered both ""THAI HOT""....perfection!!! The Chicken Panang is good too...lots of curries and noodle dishes to choose from...and last but not least, a great selection of beers and drinks...the value is unreal, especially in Littleton, which doesn't have much to choose from except Chain Restaurants. more

Good and Fresh Thai! 1/21/2006

I like this place. They are fast whether you eat in or out. Their food is fresh and flavorful. The only thing I've tried and been disappointed in is their egg rolls - the outside was soggy and not very tasty, but the rest of the dishes I've tried (at least 10) are delicious. I continue to visit this restaurant regularly. more

dissapointed 12/22/2005

My wife and I have come here for years. The last three times the qualityseems to have have gone down. The first time we let it go, anyone can have a bad day - The last time 30 min. after I ordered we asked the staff to check on the meal and it came after that. It was tastless and Pad Thai chicken was so tough it was not edible. I told them that the Royal Chicken had no flavor and was asked what they would like me to have them do. They took it back added some spice and brought it back. All the food was cold and a classy restourant would simply have replaced the meal. I'm not sure what has changed but it's not for the better. We'll be looking around for another Thai restaurant. Pros: quick seating, reservations Cons: food more

BEST THAI FOOD IN COLORADO - EVEN BETTER SINCE 2006 REMODEL 7/18/2005

I wrote this review in 2005 and I had to come back and say how wonderful this place is. I am a regular and addicted. The REMODLE IS AMAZING... GREAT FOOD, GREAT ATMOSPHERE - THEY GOT IT ALL. THE MOST AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD ON THE PLANET - PLEASE TRY THE HOMEAID COCONUT ICECREAM AFTERWARDS - YUM. My newest favorites are the garlic chicken and the royal chicken.\r \r I am from Seattle and spent the first year very disapointed with the Thai Rest. scene until I stumbled upon this quant nicely decorated establishment - Wild Ginger!! After eating some of the best Thai food for 12 years in the Pacific NW - Wild Ginger brought me home. I love the atmosphere and the food. The wine choices are wonderful. Nothing cheap about this place. My favorite dish is Pannang Curry with Beef, Coconut Icecream (homemade and to die for), Crab Wontons and Kendal Jackson Merlot. YUM. I also love the garlic chicken, dumplins, phad thai, peanut sauce and without Question the best Thai Fried Rice on the planet. Two different versions. My family goes NUTS over this food and look out because parking is getting tough. Don't tell to many people about this place!! Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

Worth it every time 6/29/2005

The Wild Ginger is great, especially for dates. I go there whenever I want to take someone to do something fun and different, because of the ambience and the 'floor tables' you can sit at, space permitting. It's local, affordable, and yet has a touch of something different, and excellent spicy curries. Pros: Food, Ambience, Value Cons: Mediocre Service more

Little food for the price you pay 6/13/2005

We ordered two dishes and a appetizer. The noodles Pad See Eew that we ordered came with about 5 flat noodles without any flavor. The dish was greasy and the service was not all that. I really don't recommend this place. There has to be better Thai food out here than this. more

Pretty good Thai 12/5/2004

I love Thai and WG is overall pretty good. The noodle wrapped shrimp is interesting as the Royal Chicken is excellent with a homemade curry paste. I like the fact that when I say hot I get it hot! Quite inexpensive, go crazy get an appetizer and some Tom Yum you will be lucky to break $30. Pros: Good food, Easy access more

Try this Thai! 9/12/2004

The decor here is standard for a suburban Thai eatery, although they do feature three traditional Thai booths in the rear of the restaurant. Our party started with the Tidbits to get a sample of appetizers. The Crab Rangoon & Dumplings were good, but similar to everywhere else, The Chicken Satay, however, was excellent due to their incredible peanut sauce. Also the coconut soup was good, not the best I ever had but still tasty. For entrees the Pad Thai was good, as was the Green Thai Curry. The seasoned and grilled half chicken entree was also good. This is one of the best Thai restaurants in Denver but I was a little disappointed that they did not feature a few more traditional dishes like Duck & Frog Legs. They do carry all Asian beers & feature a full bar. Pros: Authenitc flavors, Good Parking, Good Value more

Wild Ginger 8/22/2004

My husband and I have lived and traveled around the world, including Thailand, in search of the very best Thai food. We have NEVER come across better, more authentic thai food than at Wild Ginger. It is rare for curry paste to be homemade, but it is here. The value for money, ambience, friendly staff and unusual dishes (such as homemade thai sausage) make this place the very best Thai food we have ever eaten, anywhere in the world! Pros: Amazing food, Great ambience, Value for money more

Always Great 1/17/2004

My family and I have always been WOWed by This restaurant. My kids are always treated very well, with a ring pop at the end. The entrees are flavorfull prepared with fresh ingredients and delivered quickly. It is an amazing value and worth driving for. Try the pad si lew, jungle curry, pad thai, and garlic pepper chicken. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Food, Great Service Cons: Only One Location more

wild ginger 5/26/2003

My wife and I are big fans of Thai cuisine, and frequently ate it in the bay area for most of our lives. Unfortunately we did not have much success at finding consistent high quality food here in denver until we found wild ginger. We have dined there 3-4 times a month since 1996 and have rarely had substandard fare. However it is occasionaly hit/miss during work week. Pros: excellent value, consistent quality, authentic cntr thai Cons: portion size shrinkin more
