These are the nicest people on the entire planet. They are great with kids and the accidents that may come along with little ones. Terrific service, great food, but the people really made the trip worthwhile. Try this place out. more

The outside of the cafe doesn't do it justice as once inside one instantly knows that they are in for real comfort food that can compete with any other restaurant bar none. The servers, especially the owners, have their jobs at entertaining down to a science with the right cool approach, even for someone from Northern CA. The food and prices are right on for what one receives - a wonderful bargain with one leaving feeling as if they have stepped back to their gran's kitchen for a Sunday meal after church. The French coconut pie was to die for. The professional friendliness in the cafe is what is missing from most other restaurants these days. Leave all thoughts of being treated like a diva outside the door and for sure do not track mud into the cafe as everyone is treated equal and as if they are indeed family. Went to the dinner theatre on 07/16/05 .... food was average and we even got shorted on our dessert (it was apparent that they ran out, and our cups of banana pudding were considerably short of what we saw others getting) .... but the entertainment was over the top. We were novices and had no idea how to ""play the game,"" but it didn't really matter. We had an awesome time anyway. And, if you dress up like white trash and tell them you're a cousin, you get $5 off your ticket price. Cousin Linder Lou was a great hostess, and the entire cast and staff made it a memorable event! I encourage everyone to give this place a visit. I only wish that they were open for lunch on Saturdays so I could take more people there! today my girlfriend and i ate at white trash cafe for the first time. we had the best time. it was just like being at that long lost unmentioned cousins house... the food was wonderful...just like maw-maw makes!!!! the hostess ,redbird and the male server were the friendliest people i've encountered in a resturant.....they made us feel like we were part of the family. we will diffintely be returning. five star for a meat and three!!!!! The decor is fun kind of like Pee Wees Playhouse. Our waitress was quick & efficient. There was a limited menu to choose from. I had the chicken & dressing with gravy with mashed potatoes & mac with cheese and corn bread. The chicken was very tender with a good gravy. The dressing was OK- kind of mushy. The potatoes were very soupy, probably instant, and not very good. The mac & cheese looked good but there was no cheese flavor. Probably the worst mac & cheese Ive had. The corn bread had no taste at all. It was like eating cardboard. I had the banana pudding for dessert which was very good- best part of the meal. I was under whelmed by the taste of their food but would like to go back on a Friday to try the catfish. The people were extremely nice. We enjoyed our meal tremendously. It was like going to your Aunt's house where she'll wait on you, but only to a certain extent. Some things you just have to do for yourself. Stretch, the waitress, kept up with my Dad's ongoing repartee and gave back as good as she got. The food was great. I had broiled catfish, the rest of the party had the fried catfish. I had a great lunch of turkey/stuffing with 3 vegetables....lots of food at a great price! The lunch was hot and fresh. Its obvious they have a lot of fun at the White Trash Cafe...the servers are fun and talkative. I enjoyed looking at all of the art and wall accents around the restaurant. This was a fun, tacky, place. The BEST Catfish I've ever had and the sides were just as good. We got there after the lunch rush and they ran out of most of the sides. Next time I'll get there early.
