You people are more care about money that your patient. I called saturday if i can get appointment because i had a really bad toothache and i want it pulled out and they scheduled for monday 5:10 pm so i had to take pain reliever for 3 days. i went to my appointment today at 5:10 pm and couple mins lady came to the room giving me the estimates for deep cleaning. i told her i didn't came for deep cleaning,later on one of the girl told me the doctor not around or already went home other dentist want to see me for just exam. you dentist are idiot i have a terrible pain. did you ever have a toothache before and wait for three days before see a dentist? i don't know if you care people or other human race. i think you are races. i hope someday you will get pain so you will feel what i feel.\r \r more

They are just after my money. My son was supposed to have some dental procedure done. I asked them how much it would cost me out of pocket as soon as I went to their office. I asked 2 of their receptionist/ staff. They took my son inside and started the procedure on him without informing me how much it's going to cost me. I was waiting in the reception for the information the whole time. Then they inform me that insurance is not going to cover the cost and I would have to pay for the procedure myself (they were half way through the procedure when they informed me this). My son had his teeth cleaned twice a year. However the dental hygienist 'recommended' that his teeth be cleaned for the third time - so they started this procedure - without informing me. This is not the first time I felt uneasy about this place. I have healthy teeth. They however call me and my family members every 3 months and tells us we need this procedure done and that procedure done. Once, they called me and said that their dentist had recommended me for dental extraction during my last visit. I was taken aback! I have healthy teeth and I just need to have it cleaned once or twice a year. more

I rarely leave feedback, but this was such a bad experience I feel I must. The dental work was ok, but unprofessional. Bad advice on a filling (I sought a second, and then a third opinion that contradicted this one), and I couldn't understand the doctor's English. The worst part was the BILLING and OVERCHARGING! I stopped going a couple years ago. I am STILL RECEIVING BILLS!!!! I have finally resolved to just pay them as I don't want any bad marks on my credit report, because they continously threaten to send it to collections. Do yourself a favor and ask around first, and do not go here ever. Bad service, overcharging, and threatening phone calls. more

I thought this would be an okay dental with all the promotional info they have. I have to say the only reason I am writing this is because it has now happened for the third time that they have overbilled on insurance. I was told it would be one thing and then I am billed for way more. A routine exam for ends up being more than agreed upon. I was told I had a credit then I find I end up owing more than the double the credited amount. I thought i would try them again after changing dentists for year. But wouldn't you know it that the same thing happened again. I am really beginning to believe this is a scam place. It seems nice, clean and friendly until the bill comes. Then you have to fight it out with them but it is too late at that point. What a cheap way to do business and lose customers. This is DEFINITELY the last time for our family! more

On 10/06/2009 I went to Wheatland Dental office to have my teeth cleaning. Since this year I have a limited dental insurance coverage, I specifically asked my hygienist, Natalie, to perform a regular cleaning ONLY. I also specified the procedure code D1110. Natalie said OK and did the cleaning. I need to stress that I'm going to this office for more than 5 years and Natalie have a very gentle and nice hands. She is great hygienist. My problem is with the billing office of that clinic and specifically the OVERCHARGING me. To my surprise, they billed my insurance for more expensive procedure D4910 (Periodontic Maintenance) and the coverage was denied by the insurance company (as I expected). I stopped in the clinic on 10/16/09 and talked to someone from the billing department and I was promised they will sort out quickly this problem. Two weeks later, no response, no amendment claim to my insurance. On 10/30 I went again to Wheatland Dental and spoke with Sue from billing department. She was not very cooperative and she told me that since I has some periodontic problems, they can charge the insurance company the different code for a practically same procedure. She promised to take a look at my files and call me within one day. One week later I call Sue, and she promised again to reply within one day. No reply as of today. I did called my insurance company and I was told that now this problem is between me and the dental clinic. Pros: good hygienist Cons: poor billing and customer relations more

Dr. Sharfaei is a very professional and talented dentist. Unfortunately was just recently brought to my attention that it appears someone has “purposely” signed in using my well know nickname (""Chi Chi"" and last initial ""G"") to give the “false impression” that I may have written a negative review on Dr. Sharfaei. Nothing could be further from the truth. Dr. Sharfaei is a very capable dentist with many dental skills and a good friend of our family. If he is your dentist, you are in good hands. Dr. G more

Wheatland Dental used to be a nice place but now they have expanded and have numerous (excessive) staff on hand. They charge ridiculously and always manages to max out my insurance. I never feel like I am being taken care of for my own benefit, but rather am just another patient used to meet their annual quota. They ALWAYS have recommendations for fillings or drillings or whatnot and just seem very money hungry. I just don't feel as if I am getting what is best for myself and my teeth. Poor service, high costs. Have been with Wheatland for several years and always feel uneasy. Will be changing dentists soon as now they just estimated a $3000 cost for extracting four very normal wisdom teeth. Do not recommend at all. more
