I bought a 31,700 dollar vehicle from westside, a few months later The dealer had to work on my 2012 Malibu 2LZ at which it had 7000 miles(5,800 at time of original issue and 0,450 at time of leather issue), the front right strut went out which they replaced and screwed up my alignment and my steering wheel does not sit strait anymore. my ac went out, and now it doesn't blow out evenly. they also had to work on my leather, in which they completely ruined it in their "repairing". they put some kind of patch on the parts which needed work and painted the rest of the seat to match the patch. i told them it looked discolored and they simply got uproared and angry threatening me, talking down and disrespectfully to me (all of which i have a recording.) when i got home, i figured i would use the leather wipes to maybe make them match the reat of my seats which i have always used them on. the leather wipes removed the "paint" revealing the patches on the seat. I bought my 7th Corvette from Westside Chevrolet. The salesman Bob Johnson was informative and knowledgeable about vettes. To top it off, he's a retired Vietnam veteran who served our country. Much props to him! After owning 6 vettes it's hard to be impressed from a typical salesperson who learned everything from a brochure. Bob was different. Westside Chevrolet's body shop is the best I have even experienced. I have had the misfortune of having four accidents in my life- and my wife has had two. Only one of these were our fault. Every time the insurance company has agreed to pay for the repairs, but only Westside Chevrolet has made the experience less painful than it should be. The people there are so friendly and very knowledgeable. I always dealt with Ana and my wife has dealt with John. Both people are very polite and courteous. They are also very honest. I asked them to check a leak I had been having since before the accident in addition to the work from the accident. They fixed my leak free of charge and said it overlapped the work already being done by the insurance. They easily could have charged me as most places would have. I will never trust anyone else with my work. BEWARE! This dealership likes to use a ploy on its customers. Here's how it goes: You go in and test drive cars, spend all day until you find one you like. Then you go in and get down to pricing on the vehicle of your choice. I got a brand new car down $3000 from sticker price. Once they have you feeling like you got a great deal, you go to the financing dept. This guy is a scam artist. He tells you he can get you a great interest rate, so you sign the papers and get the keys. You drive home in your new car, all seems well, right?\r \r Then you come back on Monday to show proof of insurance, only to be brought to a back room and told by the finance manager that there was a mistake, you must have heard them wrong, but the interest rate is now 19% and the price you agreed on the car has increased. Regardless you signed papers for the previous agreement. So they take the car back they you just had. Nothing was final. Incompetent staff resulted in cheating me out of $3500.00! I went to Westside Chevrolet and bought a New 09 Malibu LTZ during the Cash for Clunkers program. I bought the car on a Sunday and the following Friday (nearly a week later) they called me to say that the car I bought did not qualify for the program and I had to bring it back. They had punched in the LS model with the smaller engine on the CARS website, but the LTZ came with the 6 cylinder which made it not qualify due to gas mileage restrictions. I'm sure I could have gotten a lawyer and kept the car since I had a contract, but they promised me they would work with me. I took the car back and got my clunker on Friday evening-They did not give me my title back at the time because some office was already locked up for the night. The next day, Saturday, was the last day of the CARS program, and every other dealer in houston told me No Deal, if No Title in hand. I purchased my trailblazer from Lawrence Marshall & never had any problems with the service or staff. But when I decided to get my car repaired at Westside that was my biggest mistake. They never did repair it! When I asked for the manager he was a very rude person to be in this type of business! I ended reporting them & never again do I want anything to do with Westside; they are liars & cheaters, rude. Don't even want a free oil change period. Jeff here... After my third purchase from Ted at Westside, I must admit that I will not go anywhere else for my vehicle needs without talking to either Russ, Cody, Chuck, Que, Ted, Jim, JD or Dave!!! It is this core of great people who have been at Westside for years that maintains the best customer service I have received from any business. I know that most people, especially lately, have been knocking the American auto industry. However, they hear about it and are living it and STILL have a great attitude!! I always notice that only the bad things get posted and am here to tell you that our experience with Westside Chevrolet and Ted Loney was the best we have had at any dealership!!\r \r From the initial emails and phone calls to negotiate the deal and everything being just as Ted said it would be when we signed the paperwork with finance to Ted arranging with Service department to fix a small mistake that I had made after the sale (I scraped a pole two days after picking up my Trailblazer!!), the entire Staff at Westside have my business for life for Sales, Service and I have sent family to them that are just as please as I am!! more

I took the SECOND Corvette I purchased from this dealership in to have the bumper replaced after a gentleman backed into me at the bank. His insurance said it was his fault and would cover it. The first time I went to pick up my car it was not repaired at all, the bumper was warped still and there were still scratches. The service guy said they would replace the bumper (as they should have to begin with) and they would call me in a couple of days.\r \r Fast forward a couple of days...I got to pick up my car and the bumper is still scratched...thinking something is up at this point I confronted the service manager about it and Nationwide Insurance, since they were paying for the repair. We have heard many bad things about Westside Chevrolet through the years. We never bought any of my husbands trucks there, but just recently he wanted to go there to get his oil changed. He asked if they honored Mak Haik coupons and the man in the service dept. was extremely rude, he called back to his manager and said" we have another one asking about the coupon!" He should of never referred to my husband as "another one" he should of said we have a customer asking about the coupon. The manager came to the front to talk to my husband and he to was very short and rude when he spoke to my husband. He told him that they were the only Chevy dealer nearby that did oil changes, and my husband said, no, that Mak Haik does oil changes also. The Manager told him that Mak Haik closed their quick lube a year ago. My husband told him that was not true, that he had just been there about 4 months ago. My fiance and I went to Westside Chevrolet to check into buying me a new car. We originally wanted a Tahoe but I ended up with a beautiful 2004 pontiac grand prix gt. After test driving the car we debated on the price. We agreed that if they dropped the price to roughly $17,500 down from the sticker of $21,995 we would buy. When the salesman approached us, he dropped it down to the cash price of $15,266 without us even haggling over the price. The salesman, the finance department, and everyone there was very friendly and treated us wonderfully. They even found us a better rate 3 days after we bought it and resigned the paperwork.
