DR. KNOWLTON SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.\r \r **PLEASE read this before you go to Westcare Clinic because I need to help other people avoid the pain and suffering Dr. Knowlton has caused me. If you'd like to read more about her, read other reviews after searching for Westcare Clinic on Google.\r \r For about a month I had been suffering from increasing pain in my lower-left abdomen, even after I had just gone through a prescription of antibiotics for a UTI/kidney infection. I was nauseous, urinating blood, and in excruciating pain and the 1200mg of Advil I was taking was not helping me whatsoever. I have a history of ovarian cysts and given my experience with them- and the fact my antibiotics hadn't fixed the pain I was having, I was terrified that a cyst might have ruptured so I eventually decided to go to Westcare Clinic to find out what was causing so much pain.\r \r I was checked in promptly and taken a room within 10 minutes of being there. I have been going to the westcare clinic for about 5 years now. Dr Julian rodriguez is very knowlegable and has always been helpful. Right on everytime. The entire nursing staff there is phenominal! But there is one person who seemed like she should find other work. Dr knowlton, in my opinion, is highly unqualified. She actually told me there was no such thing as viral bronchitis! That and I saw her for all of 3 minutes, she diagnosed and moved on. more

I have been going to Westcare for over 15 years. Always professional, and never too long of a wait. We went in tonight at 8:55 with a child needing some stitches, and they took us in even though they had to stay late to take care of us. Waaaaaay better then having to go to the ER, Thank you Westcare! more

Dr. Knowlton diagnosed me with 'strep throat' and prescribed antibiotics without any actual test or culture being done. 2 weeks later, I consulted another doctor who actually performed tests and determined I had mononucleosis which was accompanied by a enlarged spleen. Had I actually returned to work, there was a good chance my spleen could've ruptured as I occasionally do a bit of heavy lifting. Do yourself a favor and visit a different clinic which employs doctors of competence. more

I just moved to Oly and was not feeling well. I found Westcare online, and called to see if they were busy. They told me to come on in--I didn't need an appointment. The wait was short, and the staff was very attentive. The doctor listened patiently to my complaints, did the tests, and then explained my situation thoroughly.\r I now have a primary care physician in Oly, but I would not hesitate to return to Westcare if I needed after-hours care again. more

Between the health care workers cracking jokes in the hallway about a woman in the clinic with Gonorrhea, being laughed at when telling them the specific medicine my wife needed for her nausea, and being completely mis-diagnosed and sent to the Emergency Room at another hospital based on incorrect information, I didn't have much time to take a step back and decide if this clinic was worth our $30 co-pay.\r \r Do yourself a favor and find a better clinic. more

I brought my daughter here when she was sick since our dr is out of the area, they were very attentive and got to us right away. The staff was sweet and careing along with the dr that She saw , he was very helpfull. I recommend this clinic to anyone in the olympia area more
