Great shopping and nice cafe! 4/16/2006

We love the Market itself, with its huge wine selction, extensive spices for sale, and exotic cheeses, but the cafe is also not to be overlooked! You can pop in and order a nice hot sandwich and bowl of soup. Everything tastes gourmet-incredible and the prices are very reasonable for how good it is! They also have a stellar bakery with cookies and muffins and cakes, and you can special order cakes and pastries, too. The prices are high, but it is the price you pay for a large and exotic selection of harder-to-find upscale items. If you need a rare spice or gourmet cheese, this is your spot! more

The West point Market carries a wide selection of authentic foods that you can't find in your local stores. If your a chocolate lover you will definitely will want to check out their cand department you won't be sorry. They also have a nice cafe where you can sit and relax with one of their sandwiches, They are great. They carry alot of unique things that you won't find in your local grocery stores. A nice change to oridinary grocery shopping... 8/21/2005

If you are looking for a specialty product or just want a change from your usual grocery shopping, the West Point Market is for you. They carry hard to find items and have an excellent wine selection. We often go there in order to get freshly made bakery treats and have never been let down. I must say that the West Side Market is very pricy but it is good for your hard to find items! more

A Whole New World 8/10/2005

West Point Market is the finest place in the area to get specialty grocery items and ethnic ingredients that you wouldn't find in a regular grocery store. In fact, they pride themselves on carrying even the hardest to find items. Their prices are a little high, but their products are always fresh and delicious. They have great wines and the bakery is top-notch (and you must try a "Killer Brownie"!). This establishment is a true asset to Akron! more
