Before coming here I had a really negative experience at Davids bridal. I am scared it was gonna happen again. The owner and employees are all so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Found exactly what I was looking for at a great price! They have an awesoem selection, and the service was just sooooo great. They let me try on as many dresses as I liked andhelped me in each one. They answered all my questions. I was running out of time for a dress because of a short engagement, but they fixed everything so I could get my dream dress just in time for my wedding, in my size! \r \r I just can't say enough.great things about Angela and her shop. It was a complete turn around experience from my previous horrible one at David's Bridal. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. more

I had a great experience here. I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in the very next day. Angela, the owner, was the one who helped me. She was very polite and helpful. I was able to find and fall in love with a dress, have it ordered and be out the door in an hour! They're a smaller shop so it's best to make an appointment so they are expecting you and are able to set aside time to give you undivided attention. Overall, shopping at WWJ was so quick and painless. I'm a plus size girl and they had lots of dresses in my size for me to try on, that was great! I'd definitely recommend them to another bride. more

I bought my dress from Weddings with Joy at the Tacoma Wedding Expo. The staff was very helpful and freindly and I was offered a large discount. In addition to the discount on my dress, I was offered 30% off bridesmaid dresses. Of course this deal sounded amazing, and I loved the dress, so I bought it.\r \r I tried calling the salon to see if I should make and appointment to try on dresses. When I ded not receive a return call, I sent an email. Again I had not response.\r \r When I drove the hour south to have my bridesmaid try on dresses, I was again greeted with smiles and great attention. I had a great experiene in person and was excited to get to ordering once I found the perfect bridesmaid dress!\r \r After much narrowing down, I called the salon to discuss dress prices. I was told I would receive a call back the following day regarding prices. I was also told that I would receive color swatches in the mail so that I would not have to drive the hour south once again.\r \r I waited. Then waited some more. In the mean time, I ordered swatches directly from Alfred Angleo and i received them within the week. I called back almost two weeks later to and left a message stating that I was still waiting on the dress prices and the swatches form another designer. \r \r A few more days went by and I still did not receive a call bcak. I called and left a message for Angela (the owner) to call me back. I was hoping to inform her about the lack of follow through that I was experiencing. I figured that an owner of a business would appreciate such feedback; chances are she is completely unaware that this had been going on.\r \r I did not receive a return call fro her either. \r \r As valuble time was being wasted, i began to check out other salons. I was impresssed by the service I had received by other locations, and began to feel duped. I ordered another set of swatches from Moms Maids and More in Bellevue and received them within two days. Also, most of the time I called them I talked to an actual person. And when I did leave a message, the call was returned within the hour. I can't even tell you how much stress has been aleviated since pursuing other options. \r \r Although the discounts may be tempting, I would advise others not to be fooled by the smiles and friendly persona face to face; once you pay for your dress and walk out the door, you may not ever hear from them again. \r \r And by the way, I am still waiting for those return calls, email and swatches...\r more

When I went in to weddings with Joy I was greeted immediately and even though I didn't have an appointment they still made room for me and assisted me well. I still had other places to try though but found that I didn't get that same service anywhere else I went. One place wouldn't even give me the time of day because I didn't have an appointment even though there was only one customer in the store. So i made another appointment at Weddings with Joy and again, received amazing service. I didn't feel that they were pressuring me at all to buy a dress. It really felt that they honestly and truly wanted me to find the dress of my dreams and not to buy the most expensive dress in the store. In addition because I got my dress there I get all sorts of discounts on other things for my wedding! I will definitely be back to order all I can from Weddings with Joy. If I hadn't visited this wonderful bridal store in person, I would have misled by the unfair reviews posted previously by others. I was recommended by a sales representative, Chelsea, at EE Robins Belltown where I got my wedding band. She told me that she got her wedding gown at Weddings With Joy in Olympia. She said that it's worth the travel from downtown Seattle to Olympia because this bridal store has gorgeous looking gowns at various price levels. On a Saturday afternoon, I arrived at Weddings With Joy for my appointment. They treated me with very good customer service, even though I told the store owner, Angela, and my wedding gown consultant, Lise, about my desired budget (under $500) . They helped me to try out wedding gowns of my price range. Finally, I found my dream wedding gown that fell under my desired budget. Yay! They also matched my gown with the perfect veil and headpiece and they also suggested me to try on the nice and fluffy slip to make me look even better. My gown was made by the famous designer, Maggie Sottero, and Weddings With Joy is a Maggie Sottero authorized dealer. When I bought my gown at Weddings With Joy, they were having their Maggie Madness event in March. My gown was on sale with this huge incredible discount. Angela really understands that every bride has different needs and different budget levels and her gowns totally fit into every bride's budget. She and her staff always carry a smile and made me feel very welcome there. I can feel that they serve every clients with the best of their heart and the best wishes for their weddings. mainly really poor service, bad selection and made to feel guilty when i didnt decide to buy the dress in my first visit. i ended up going elsewhere, demetrio's bride in tacoma to be exact, i found the dress and the service!
