I love this place!\r \r I stumbled upon this little diamond in the rough over 3 years ago, & only one restaurant has ever come close to the quality & freshness that this restaurant offers. As you can see, even after 3 years, I'm still super-enthusiastic about this place! You absolutely have to try this Sea Fa1ry roll* with brown rice (* CitySearch won't let me say fa1ry with an i ... weird). I always request brown rice because this is the only place I know of that actually has that option ... it's a melt-in-your-mouth and/or fly-to-heaven experience that's too good for words. Try a piece without soy sauce or wasabi first to get a more accurate appreciation of the quality, & then you can add anything you like afterward. That's the way it should always be done with sushi so you know exactly what you're getting. more

We went on a monday evening, it was right across from our hotel on Van Ness and very conveinent via the 49/47 bus. Simple menu, some specials available. Sat at the sushi bar which has about 12 or so seats. THe chef was a family guy, with artwork from customers children and his daughter. Very friendly to customers, obvious ""regulars"" coming in and out getting sushi to go. Clean, fresh and the price isn't going to break the bank. Pros: clean, fresh, fast more
