Good and reassuring experience overall, with just minor problems. 12/26/2013

I got an alarm system installed by Waxwerks. That turned out great, and everything works fine. I then bought a radio and everything I needed for it on my own, but didn't know how to put it in, so I had them do that. The radio works, but something happened not too long after the installation. My battery ended up dying, and I thought maybe the radio had something to do with it (because the battery was new). I ended up getting a new alternator, which seems to have fixed the problem. I'm hoping that's what the issue really was. When I called Waxwerks about the problem initially and explained to them what happened, the guy was a little rude to me. As soon as I suggested it might have been something on their end, he got rude and started kind of ranting about how many installations they do every day. He didn't want to take the criticism. As far as the system and the installation, though, Waxwerks was awesome. I was a little bit hesitant about getting things done to my car for the first time, so it was nice. more

WaxWerks or Bust!! 12/16/2013

WaxWerks was able to install a Viper Smart Start system on my wife's 2012 Taurus (with push-button start) in less than half a day! This is significant because 2 other local auto accessory businesses each kept the care for 3 or more days and were unable to successfully get the system to operate properly. We'll be back for our next project after the first of the year!! more

Great Service 12/8/2013

Very helpful staff. Offered to try and install less expensive remote start to see if it would be compatible with my car rather than just saying I need to buy the more expensive option and it worked! Appreciate that they were so honest. Also, quoted me 3 hour wait. Car was done in 1 hour. Very satisfied with installation quality as well. more

The gentlemen who assisted me with purchasing a remote starter for my car were very polite and they knew what they were expected to know about their services. My car was finished the same day and the process of picking up my car was convenient. more

Excellent customer service! 11/30/2013

I headed to Waxwerks because they had the best price for what I wanted but I got more than I expected. Brian was patient and courteous on the phone with me and I was greeted by 3 courteous gentlemen when I walked in. I jokingly told them I had some new windshield wipers in the back that if they felt so inclined, maybe they could pop them on for this single woman. They did attempt it but they informed me I had the wrong ones and told me which ones I should get and offered to put them on for me if I wanted to stop by. Who does that these days? They were efficient and got it done much quicker than I thought. I would definitely go back for future services! more

I was given 90 minutes as an estimated time for keyless entry for my 2014 Silverado. Showed up about 20 minutes early for my appointment and was back on the road 8 minutes after my scheduled time. more

Waxwerks had to clean my car's lights because there was a lot of residue on them. They were pretty nice and friendly with me, even though this was my first time going in. They also managed to get almost all of it off. The lights look a lot better than before. more

Great experience 11/25/2013

I got the electric starter from Waxwerks and they've done a great job. Showed me how to operate the electric starter, the trunk, and the lock. It was pretty easy, essentially. I love the company--had no problems in operating. They were also speedy on the job. This was a great experience because, usually, I have problems with people working on my car. Tanya Day more

UN-BELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will definitely be back! 11/14/2013

Waxwerks gave me the best ever experience. I was so impressed not only with how good a job they did on my truck but also with their customer service. I sat in the lobby waiting for the work on my truck to be done, and even just listening to how they handle phone calls and interact with customers, I was blown away. Their professionalism is UNBELIEVABLE. I was really overwhelmed. I will definitely go back there. I have already referred their business to others. I honestly wish I could work for a company like theirs. more

Do not go to this place! They are horrible! I had a car starter installed. Not only did they install it wrong, it caused my car to fry our and stop working. It cost me over 600 to have it fixed and they wouldnt take care of it. They are the idiots that installed it wrong on my new car and then they have the nerve to not return phone calls and just brush you away. Brian the store manager is a complete waste of time. Do not buy anything from this place! You will be left with a horrible experience and also a hole in your pocket.\r more

HORRIBLE!! Not only was I misled with pricing for auto detailing and charged a higher price than what was ""sold"" to me when dropping my vehicle off, I had items stolen from my car by an employee. The manager Brian Mahan did not offer an apology but instead told me the only suggestion he had for me was to file a police report. DO NOT TRUST OR BRING YOUR CAR HERE. more

AWFUL! If you expect good customer service and want feel like a valued customer DO NOT go to Wax Werks! Long story short. I called to make an appointment to have my window re-tinted under warranty. The manager argued with me over the phone that I wasn't in their system. I continued explaining that I have had two cars done and was just there for another window that was peeling for warranty work. He was so rude and continued to argue. He finally found my name because he was spelling it incorrectly. NO apology. Once I showed up they said they were backed up over an hour. I would have expected any professional business to maybe call the customer ahead of time so I could maybe make arrangement or reschedule. I didn't even get an apology. I rescheduled and even called an hour before my appointment to make sure they were on schedule. Manager claimed they were. I showed up 10 minutes early and they didn't take my car until 15-20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I was only more

I took my car in for the 10th time to get my windows tinted. They worked me in and treated me very well. In fact, I made the mistake and didn't take a car there to tint one time and I ended up taking it back to Waxwerks stripped the old and put new on. Wonderful Job 5/7/2011

I just had the windows on my 2005 Suzuki Reno tinted today. All I can say is that Rob and Tony were very courteous and polite, explaining all the available options. They did a fantastic job of taking of me there. The people who did the actual tint job did a wonderful job as well. I'm a very satisfied customer and recommend them highly. more
