I love the folks at Watanabe Floral! I have been working with them for years and I would recommend them for all of your weddings or other flower needs. They have won many local awards for many reasons, and I am sure that the biggest reason is that they actually care about their customers. As a wedding photographer I know how important a great florist is and it all comes down to caring and attention to detail. If you are choosing a florist, choose Watanabe. more

Fat and Juicy Rip-Off 10/2/2011

Staff needs to do more research or say they don't know before leading customers on a wild goose chase.\r I had been doing research for a friend who was planning to get married. My mission was to seek out what kinds of succulents were available for the period of the wedding date. I had a mission of either checking the price of a composed arrangement with succulents versus making them ourselves.\r The first person who I spoke with, a Hawaiian woman, kind of on the heavy side told me that succulents were not available in November and if anything they would be rather sad looking during that time. I remembered attending a wedding last year in early December with nice succulents made for pew pieces and centerpieces.She also suggested that if they could get anything that they'd be imported from the mainland and I would have to pay for outrageous shipping on top of the cost for the succulents.\r They quoted me a wedding bouquet composed of roses and orchids with a few succulents for about $200 an more

Please do not support anyone who promotes HATE and the passing of Prop 8 in California such as Russell R. Watanabe of Watanabe Floral. Shame on him. Please pass this on to your local friends. Pros: none Cons: Hate is not a family value more

Great Prices 11/24/2005

This place truly is Hawaiis Best Florist. Its been named that several years in a row. They have many designs and I believe that out of all the florists on this island, they have the biggest selection. They also sell specialty flowers for prom, balloons, ribbons, stuffed, and animals. For those organizations doing fundraising, they can help you with it. more

Great flowers and leis 11/2/2005

Whenever I need a few leis for special occasions, I always go to Watanabe's. They always have a great selection at a reasonable price. I've also purchased many different types of bulk flowers (irises, alstromeria, roses), and they are always fresh and beautiful! The staff is always helpful and friendly. more

Great wholesale place to make your own arrangement. They have vases, marbles, fillers and everything you need to create your own floral masterpiece. They also have fresh leis and pre-made arrangements if you are in a rush. Their prices are unbeatable and a name recognized in the florist industry. more

They have Great prices and are NOT WAL-MART 9/24/2005

I highly encourage those to buy from local businesses especially this one. Its much more personal and much cuter if you buy flowers from an actual flower shop. The cool place about this place is that they let you go into their walk-in freezer to also pick out flowers. My personal favorites are the star-gazers and the dragon snaps. I love this place!!!! more

Affordable prices 9/9/2005

I always come to Watanabe Floral stores because they have a large inventory of roses and other flowers. They grow their roses locally in order to keep the prices down. This is the place to shop for mother's day and any other special occasion. more
