I became a WSECU member in 2001 after moving here from Texas, and ever since have been a loyal and enthusiastic supporter of this institution! This is the only bank where they take the time to listen and work out new solutions to any concern or problem you might have. I have both my car loan and my student loans through this institution and at GREAT rates too (especially for someone who has not been establishing credit that long!). The annual newsletters with council updates and issues being voted on really makes you feel more involved with the running of the credit union! They are also very understanding when it comes to late loan payments and change of circumstances! If you have an opportunity to become a member of this wonderful financial house - I highly recommend that you do so! They will ruin every other bank for you! more

I love this bank! I definitely feel that credit unions are the way to go. My boyfriend has both WAMU and BofA accounts and he constantly has to pay for ridiculous charges for both. I've never had a fee for anything at WSECU. Everytime I call customer service they're extremely helpful and courteous. The best part is they work with other credit unions so that if you don't have a branch of your particular credit union near you, you can bank at other credit unions such as BECU, Verity, Watermark, etc. There are no ATM fees at other credit union ATMs either (although there are fees at your BofA ATMS). You can join WSECU if you're a state employee or if you go to a state school (UW, WSU). more
