You can take your film to be developed and wait for the photos. You drop off your film, shop a bit, and pick the pictures up in under an hour. Because they have a machine do the processing, the pictures aren't perfect. Some batches are all too dark, some too light. They don't adjust for every shot. They will, however, reprint a photo if you ask them to at no charge.
The prices are on par with drugstore developing. With photos going digital, they also have a machine to process digital memory cards into photos. Quality depends on the resolution the photo was taken at but usually you can get a nice shot from a digital camera developed at Ekerds.
I have been fairly pleased with their work or snapshots and have used their do it yourself machine for reprints of photos and enlargements, etc.. The quality is OK. The prices are cheap so if you just want a reprint or to develop a roll of simple
