This store is trying to make a comeback in my opinion. With newer employees, parkinglot security cameras, and better deals Walmart on Rockbridge Rd. is just catching up to other stores. I recently bought a Garmin nuvi 200 (a navigational device) which saved me a whopping $50, which was great considering gas prices these days. I will be honest the employees are not extremely helpful and just seem to mind themselves, but some are very helpful. Walmart isn't an incredible career choice in my opinion and I believe the people working there aren't thrilled either so they tend to show apathy towards the employees. Their employees at this store are very multiracial, which is great don't get me wron, but many of which don't understand what is going on, not only due to a language barrier, but also because they are lacking a general awareness of what else is going on. I feel like sometimes you just have to know what to get and use online resources to help you shop at Walmart. I maybe get a hello once at the entrance and a may I help you once, typically at the MacDonald's inside. If you have ever been to a Walmart you probably understand how they work. It is a huge place that has much to offer. I think that this store is fairly decent, but needs improvement. I think the Target less than 5 minutes away is better, but hey it is Walmart, it is pretty cheap and there is also a gas station at this Walmart. It is hard to write a review on something when you just want to throw out every bad thing, so I will leave it at that. This was my first review ever written and I hope a seventeen year old male can be informative.
Pros: Cheap and has a large selection of items to buy. (includes MacDonalds, vision center, gas station, & auto shop)
Cons: The smiley face should just represent the low prices, the customer service needs some work to make that slogan valid.
