I have had a Sears service agreement on my appliances for many years. I will probably not renew the one on the garage door. They were not able to make the appointment at the same time as the appointments on my other appliances, so I had to be home another day. I made the appointment and waited. They changed that appointment to later in the day and then called to say they couldn't make that one, so I had to be home another day. They gave me a 5 hour appointment window, which is ridiculously long. The repair man did nothing but oil the door hinges, springs, and chain, which my son had already done. He did not even look at the pully or gears on the opener to see if there were any problems because the opener was working.
