I really must say that the staff at Vision Quest is pretty cool. I just joined and they made it so easy for me. The memberships are very simple you just pick the one that works best for you and they write that one up for you. Then I got the schedule with the trainer I will have two times right there. I got to meet him and he explained what we will be doing and everything. I was very impressed how easy and actually fun it was. The owners were even onsite and welcomed me to the club. I have been a member at the auburn club for quite some time now. I was excited to hear that Vision Quest now has a club in Kent. I went in to the club this weekend and was very impressed. They have re-done the whole club!!! There is brand new equipment in there that is just awesome!!!! It is a smaller club but there was still equipment open for me to use. I highly recommended if you are a member in Auburn you come try out the kent facility too. Its great and it is closer to my house so I love it. I hear their group fitness classes are great too. If they are anything like the auburn club then they must be awesome!! Pros: New club in Kent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Vision Quest always has the best interest for local talent. I have 3 boys who just love wrestling and sports. I was able to take them to watch 2 of their favoirte college wrestlers because they were kind enough to convert their gym into an arena!!!!! My boys just loved it! We are members to so they were able to work out and the come down stairs and watch a college duel right here in our home town. I just want to thank Vision Quest and the owners for helping put this on. It was great to see college wrestling in Washington again! I also thought it was great that you were still able to work out with this awesome event going on!!! So thank you again Vision Quest and Wyoming for putting on a great show for not only the local wrestlers but the whole town!!!! Pros: generous, kind, big facility, awesome events for familes more

I dont even want to give this place a star if I had the option on this post but I dont. I called to find out about fees and they said I had to come down to the gym to do that. I initially asked if they had month to month because I did not want to get into a contract and they said yes, they have that option. BS! They made you sign a contract! Get to the gym and was not welcomed at all but I needed to get healthy and was just going to avoid that negative part of my experience. Long story short, signed a contract on that visit and I was jipped into having paid a larger amount from the first option presented to me, even after I told the guy I just wanted to workout, dont need the other options...but got signed up for more than just their Gold membership. Snobby receptionist, a car salesmen that just wants to get a contract over with. The staff really makes you feel unwelcomed. The ONLY pro to this club is that I was able to cancel the contract within their 3 business days policy after signing up and expect to get my fees back within the 30 days as they stateed. I'm now having to wait for a check in the mail for what they charged my credit card. A little unconventional. If you can swipe the card for a charge then you can swipe it for a refund! The staff needs an attitude adjustment for sure! Pros: 3 business day policy for cancelling contract Cons: Everything else especially the staff and contract options! more

I have been through gyms all over town trying to find the right one, Vision Quest was by far the most friendly gym I have ever been in, which is very important to me. The place is beautiful, clean, and has a women's only area, which is really nice when I want to keep to myself a bit. And the best part, they have a sauna so I can always end my day relaxed. more

I just joined Vision Quest because I needed something that was fun to take up time. I joined a very reasonable price and now I have some where to go everyday if I want to. I pay monthly and I could go there all day everyday if I wanted and workout, watch tv, meet new people, and tan. It is a pretty neat place with a great staff. If you are looking for a workout come try bootcamp with us. There is about 20 people in class and our trainer kicks our butts. It is a great workout that gets my heart rate up everytime. I know I can not push my self that hard and I can not afford personal training at this time so I do the bootcamp. It is fun, affordable and it is hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

When I signed up for this place it was through a deal through work which was only a 5 minute drive from the gym. The deal as stated to me by one of the employees was 2yrs for a one time payment. It seemed to be a very good deal and it worked pretty well for the 1st yr. However by the beginning of my 2nd yr I had lost my job in the Auburn area and had stopped going to the gym. About a year and a half after I had stopped going to the gym I received a call from collections. They requested that I pay them for about 5 months of missed payments at Vision Quest. I was confused as I had been informed that all I was signing up for was a 2 yr membership. It seemed that somewhere in the fine print of my contract it stated that once the 2yrs was up they would begin to charge me the standard monthly rate. So after a full yr of non-usage they somehow felt the need to continue to charge me. Finally I tried to cancel my membership via the phone. They informed me it was not possible to do this over the phone so I had to drive about 30 min out of my way to Auburn to cancel it.\r \r Now this is my fault for believing the personal trainer and not checking the fine print but I just think its a dirty and sleazy way to do business. \r Pros: Large Facility Cons: Staff, Contracts more

I have been a member at Vision Quest for quit some time now, and if you are not a member this place is great. They have a huge free weight room!! I like to do free weights vs. the machines so this place is perfect for my needs. I have been lifting for about 20 years so I thought I was a pro until the owners talked me in to doing a free monthly session with one of their trainers. I did it thinking what do they know that I don't know. I was shocked this guy had me using bands and dumbells and my body weight and he kicked my butt. It was awesome!!! So I would recommend this club to EVERYONE!!!!! Pros: awesome trainers, big facility, and nice staff Cons: i guess having a big facility could be bad for some????? NOT ME THOUGH! more

I have recently join Vision Quest. I was a member at 24 hour fitness before for about 6 years. I was looking for some change in my life and I like go to the gym so I thought I would try a new one. I walked in to Vision Quest and was pleasantly greeted by the staff and the owner!! I have never seen an owner at a 24 hour fitness before. Chip (owner) showed me around told me about his goals and then asked my about mine. I may like to work out but im not the best at it. He showed me the whole facility and got me hooked up with HIS TRAINER!!! I was so excited. Chip and the staff are incredible so far. It is a fun and friendly environment i love it here Pros: Great avalible owners and staff! more

I love this place! The club is beautiful! Someone is always cleaning, the front desk knows me by name, and the trainers are amazing! Even for a poor college student like me this place is affordable and its so nice to know that even though I can't afford personal training, with my free monthly workouts I will still be able to have a great workout designed for me and all the help I would ever need! more

If you are in need of losing a few pounds and your new years reslolution is to lose weight than come to Vision Quest Sport and Fitness. The owners are challenging us members to see who can lose more weight. We just had our first weigh so there is still time to join. I have a partner so if you know someone who could stand to lose bring them down to it is a great motivator and it keeps me on track. (which is what i need lol) I have a great trainer i think he is the best but there are several trainers at Vision Quest who actually care about resluts. They give you a meal plan and get you on track and keep you on track to reach your goal!!!!!! I highly recommend Vision Quest to EVERYONE!!!!! Pros: big, helpful, clean, fun Cons: ....none.... more

The gym in itself is great. The staff however, is a different story. The absoloute WORST customer service I have ever seen. You call to talk to a manager and they are ALWAYS "in a meeting." You have meetings for 6 hours a day 5 days a week? Furthermore, you leave a message, and they do not call you back in a timely manner, if at all. These folks are the most rude and unwilling people I have ever dealt with. They are nice and the service is great, up until you decline personal training. The Chiropractic clinic is Amazing. Awesome staff there, and totally willing to work with you. Too bad the Chiropractic staff dont run the whole thing. more

I had bad experience to vision quest gym. I have been working out there for almost three years, and recently quit because of the poor management and dirty place. I will NEVER recommend this place. I broke my back a few years ago and have only recently been able to even think about working out again. The reviews i see are mixed and I'm wondering if the staff hounds you when you're there? I would like to just come in and do the things i feel like doing and not be on someone Else's schedule. sounds like they have all the goodies and I will go there soon...just wondering about the staff and being pressured. Sounds like half the customers are happy and half are whiny and upset. Gotta say that the lady crying about religious reasons to complain...go get a bow flex and stay home or buy a club. The same way i don't like pushy sales people, I cant stand people who expect everyone to embrace their lifestyle. Hope to meet some good people and get back out in the world. more

I've been a member at Kent Women's for almost 8 years. I've been doing the classes for years. When Kent Women's became Vision Quest I finally had the oppurtunity to work with a trainer. I have lost 17 pounds since Vision Quest has taken over. I have the fitness director and all the trainers support. The staff is very wonderful to me. The gym has come to life. From when you enter the door to the end of my work outs every employee has taken the time to ask me about my work out and results. They have been underconstruction the past few months but they are working very hard to keep the members happy which I really appreciate. They have a lovely spa area were I go and relax. If you are looking for support and fun in your workouts Vision Quest is the gym for you. Thank you very much staff and my friends at Vision Quest. more

I have been a member here for several years now. The only problem is finding time to go. They are open 24 hours and their facility is clean. The only thing I don't like is that it sometimes takes a long time to fix the equipment. It can get crowded during peak hours. They ask members to bring and use a towel on the equipment, but this isn't enforced. They also don't provide paper towels and sanitizer to use when you're through. (at least not where I can find it) The staff is okay - quite a bit of turnover - they can be pushy to get you to join, but cancelling memberships is easy - I have cancelled memberships for my kids and husband while keeping mine and had no problems. The price is excellent. more

I joined the Kent Vision Quest after the gym I was going to closed. With all the upgrades promised I thought it would be great. I barely lasted 3 weeks. I have already quit and joined a different club. The ladies locker room is frequently not clean, look at the shower curtians if you go in there, or in the corners of the counters. It is a very small space also. The GM made several attempts at getting this cleaned up but in the long run I don't believe (my opinion) they really care. Equipment is VERY old...with a promise of new coming with an every changing date. It is difficult to find 2 weights the same size to do any free weights. I was very dissappointed in this gym, they are NOT passionate about your fitness. After my ""free"" personal training sessions when I was not prepared to sign up for more I felt very brushed off. I had a Jacket stolen in the locker room, I accidently forgot it in the morning and later that afternoon when I remembered it was already gone...not the gyms fault I know but just speaks of what you will find there. Think it through carefully. Pros: The scheduled classes and teachers are great! Cons: dirty and staff sometimes less than friendly more

This place has lots of equipment, friendly staff when you walk through the door. Love the FREE Personal Training session that I get with my membership each month. My wife loves the womens center upstairs and the free weight room is very large compared to other facilitys that I have belonged to. The wrestling clincs that they put on for my younger sons is great and taught by the owner himself, which I think says alot about them. It is just an overall great atmosphere to be in. I would recomend to my family and friends. Pros: 24 hours, low prices, private womens center, 2 locations now Cons: Not one more
