I appreciated the common language explanations on the physical nature of my eyes and how the fitted contacts would allow for more relaxed vision through the course of the day. more

I lost a pair of glasses I purchased at Vision City almost a year ago. They were able to quickly pull my file and although the frames were not in stock they were able to get the glasses reordered and even provided express delivery. Both the vision tech and the young woman who completed the order were courteous and professional. more

This was my first visit to Vision City's new location. Really nice, comfortable environment and excellent service all around! Each member of the staff excelled! more

I have always enjoyed the highest level of service from Dr. Patel and her team. She seems very involved in all aspects of the office, making sure that things are running efficiently (in addition to being a very knowledgeable practitioner, of course). Her staff is courteous and polite. I highly recommend Vision City Las Colinas. more

I needed some replacement contacts because I had tore one. They did not have my exact prescription in stock but they was able to give me a trial pair until mine came in. I really appreciated that. more

I gave it a single star becasue I had to give something. They only get that becasue they do have up to the date equipment. Twice in 2 years I bought a Groupom for $59 for $359 in merchandise. I still walked out of there with only an eyeglass exam (the contact exam was an additonal $150 (ABSURD). I then paid $39 for the test that is replacing the dilation. FOr the frames the lady instantly took me over to the $550 frames. I said no way, I'm not spending that. I ended up with $250 frames then by the time I added Crizal (anti glaer) and transisiton lenses I paid a hefty $525. Had I not had the Groupon it would have been $839. HIGHWAY ROBBERY!! Funny thing, they all complimented me on my glasses which I got at WalMart for $25. With lenses,Crizal & all I was out of WalMart for under $200. I was reminded why I didn't use VIsion CIty last year and I re-enforced my previous opinion that these guys really screw the customers. I will NEVER use them again. They probably raised all prices for Groupon users (as many companies do...Groupons are a rip off too. Always check the business's regular prices before getting a Groupon for them). If you like to get totally screwed, don't care about customer service & you enjoy paying WAY, WAY too much for EVERYTHING, then by all means these are the guys for you! Oh, did I say NEVER AGAIN?!! more

Outrageous prices, Poor Customer Service and Optical Care I was seen twice within two weeks for an examine. I have 20/20 vision and I was prescribed a .75 prescription. I currently do not wear eyeglasses nor contacts. However, I was interested in a pair of frames as part of the ""accessory ensemble"".........I had no idea she (the ""DOCTOR"") would prescribe such a strong magnifying perscription as if I was totally blind..........It was HAM (Hot A__ Mess).........There was no reason to leave with the glasses since I couldn't do anything with them. Even the gentlemen in the Sales area said, you have 20/20 so I'm not sure why the prescription is so strong after having me to read a chart. Went back and demanded that she provide lenses with no prescription.....Then she didn't want to give me the case to the glasses that I purchased. Even after telling her a week prior that I never took the glasses home..... EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE more

I was seen in Jan 2011. Both times at this store, not one employee smiled. When I was greeted, the grim female didn't even look up from the computer. Be prepared, as if you going to a car dealership, they will try to upsell, upsell, upsell! If your looking for $900+ glasses (this is what the customer in front of me paid) and very lousy unattentive service, visit this place. If not, do not come here. more

Recently spent some quality time at the office of Dr. Rita Patel and staff. I was given a very thorough exam while also being asked about my activities that would be a factor in my decision of whether to wear contact lenses or glasses. Then, deciding that I wanted the fashion statement of a beautiful frame, I was directed to her optician. I was treated like I was very important and she took alot of time with me to select not just my frame, but the best lenses I have ever had. Did you know how important some of those options are like the non-glare stuff? Any way, I had a a great experience and I will see them next year. :) more

I have been going to Dr. Patel for 4 years now and as long as I am in the DFW area I am staying put. She is willing to put in the time to make sure you are getting the best experience out of your contacts or glasses. My individual needs and concerns are always a top priority. All of the staff is very friendly and down to earth. Dr. Patel was out and about through all the aspects of the clinic. Knowledgeable, available, interactive (not the WIzard of Oz kind of doctor who hides in the back).. No eye dilation - which is great - because dilation is inconvenient (and painful going outside in summer). They have a cool digital photo machine instead and the doctor gives a a nerve by nerve explanation of your own eye health. I walked in unable to see up close, far away or clearly at night. Walked away with good solutions for all three. A clinic I will go back to myself and recommend to my friends. Two thumbs up. Dr. Patell was recommended to me by one of my co-workers who was very pleased with her services. I was in debate on which direction to go (glasses or bifocal contacts) and she willingly discussed my options and answered my questions. Although it took ordering four different pairs of contacts, she worked with me until they were right and I was satisfied. I also decided to order a pair of back up glasses and since my old frames were in excellent condition (and still in their inventory), they recommended that I just have new lenses put in the frames I had. I found the staff very friendly and professional and never had to wait more than a few minutes. more

Dr Rita Patel and her staff are the most professional of any optometrist office I've ever been in, and I've been wearing glasses since I was 3 years old. They have a great selection of very trendy frames, and have all the resources to have your 'specs' made just the way you need them - non-reflective coating, no-line bifocals, transitions lenses - and if they can make my prescription look flawless, they can absolutely handle yours. Dr. Patel is very contemporary in her approach, her knowledge and the staff is seamless. If you need your eyes examined, contact lenses, or new glasses, go to Vision City Las Colinas. I recently went to have my eyes checked at ""Dr. Rita's"" office after three people from my office referred me to her. I only waited 5 minutes after filling my paperwork out before an assistant took me to the exam room. Dr. Rita came in and gave me a thorough eye exam and took the time to talk to me about my concerns. She genuinely took interest in my concerns and was able to give me bifocal contacts that I can see out of. I have never had better vision than now and have seen 3 different doctors in the past 10 years. I got a back up pair of glasses also. They have the best designer frames selection in Dallas. Her staff is great; very informative and friendly. Highly recommend this practice. Oh....and you've got to check out their website.
