Stephanie is amazing! 2/14/2011

I am in the beauty business, and as a result I travel quite a bit and my appearance is incredibly important. In my line of work, my look needs to be trendy, but because I am on the corporate end of my company, it also needs to look professional. I have had experiences in high end salons accross the country, but I have to say that my favorite hair styles have come from Stephanie at Visible Changes at the Galleria. Not only does she give me a modern yet sophisticated cut, exactly what I need and want, but I ALWAYS enjoy my experience with her. She is exceedingly friendly and makes the entire experience from the time in the chair to the finished product, amazing. I have not only referred clients to her, but even coworkers- male and female, friends, and family. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a good haircut and a great hairstylist go see Stephanie more

I really enjoyed how Teresa helped me with my hair cut. I had long hair for 2 yrs. and was unsure how to cut it. I had an idea and Teresa really helped shape it too a very good hair cut. I recommend her because I enjoy how she cuts hair and her knowledge of products shes also nice to talk to. more

Sanaz is Sanazwesome!!! 2/3/2011

Sanaz has been my sylist for the past 6 years, she is by far the friendliest person at that salon. She is always courteous and knows exactly what you want when describing a particular hair style. She is very efficent and I never have the feeling that she is rushing me out the door. I'll continue to go see Sanaz even if i go bald! more

Ask for Stephanie! 2/1/2011

I started seeing Stephanie a couple of years ago when I had a problem. I had recently taken a job in oil and gas as a Project Manager, but had always been a punk/techno-industrial/metal guy. I needed a haircut that could pass in both the boardroom as well as Poison Girl, Roc Bar, or some places like that. So basically I walked in not knowing what to do at all, and left it in her hands. Stephanie set me up with a one of a kind faux-hawk. It's very wide with close cropped edges that blend in with the rest. The result is I can slick it over to the side, and the VP is none the wiser. After work, it's up with a lot of spiking glue and I get to be me. She's a great conversationalist, and I've never felt more comfortable! I highly recommend this lady, and have sent several clients her way! more

Ask For Stephanie Coker!!! She's an amazing stylist! 1/25/2011

After bouncing from salon to salon for nearly 2 years in Houston I finally found my hair stylist and have been back 6 or 7 times since then! Stephanie is professional yet fun and friendly and her skills are impecable. I never have to worry about how my hair will turn out because she cuts EXACTLY the amount you want her to cut...never more...never less. If you feel a little more daring and allow her to take the reins, you're in great hands and won't be let down! Did I mention she also taught styling classes?? more

Brenda Ramirez GREAT!!! 1/22/2011

I recently went to the galleria and got a haircut at visible changes. Brenda did such a great job she cut my hair exactly the way I liked it. Other people usually cut my layers uneven from the sides but she did exactly what I asked the length abd the style. She was also really nice and offered to straighten my hair at no cost. I reccomend her. When you go to visible changes, ask for Brenda Ramirez and you will go home satisfied and still have money for shopping. more

Ask for Daniel Miniel, Jr. for your cut! 12/20/2010

I LOVE Daniel Miniel, Jr. I have been using him since March of 2009. I have never found anyone that cuts my hair as great as Daniel. I have very thick hair, and he has amazing skills and techniques to take out the weight. I would say it's a ""life-changing"" haircut every time because he always makes my hair look AMAZING! Ask for Judy Tuttle Wurth 10/20/2010

Judy and Novellette are icons in the hair beauty industry. They have also been with Visible Changes for 20+ years...and they look young! I have been on fashion shoots and runway shows with these pros. They are also excellent trainers.\r \r Visible Changes is based in Houston and his huge on education and rewards for its employees. Happy stylists means happy clients.\r \r They also donate time and products to nonprofits...proving it's important to be beautiful on the inside too. more

Great Hair Stylist 6/30/2010

There is a bad review for Olga on this list however the man is out of his mind!!! (Sorry but he seems to have issues and, if so, he shouldn't be out of his house. Or at least not to a crowded environment!!!!) \r \r Olga is a very good stylist and is very professional. She is amazing! Not only will she cut your hair like you want but will give her input to make you look the BEST. She is very talented, sweet and caring. I've been going to Olga for 3 years now and everytime with a different style to cut and she has done a very awesome job. She also answers all your questions and helps you decide on anything you are hesitating about. I will never let anyone else cut my hair. I am satified every time I visit. \r \r Please don't listen to the bad review that was recently posted!!! Pros: Wonderful, Very Friendly, Feels Like Family, Caring Cons: NONE! more

Horrified 6/21/2010

I went to get my hair cut today, Monday June 21. I asked for the top of line cutter - Creative Hair Stylist at $48. They paired me with Olga. As background, I'm a 44 male with salt & pepper hair. As soon as I get in the chair, she asks me if I am ""a Daddy."" Father's day was yesterday, Olga. I thought that question was little personal. What if I wanted to be a Daddy but my wife just miscarried? What if I wanted to be a Daddy but I had poor ""swimmers""? I just said, ""No."" Olga wouldn't leave it alone. She then asked ""How about your Daddy?"" Totally inappropriate. What if I recently lost my father and was still in mourning? What if my father was alive but a monster who abused me as a child or a deadbeat that ran out on the family? What if I am adopted and don't know who my Daddy is? I tell her the truth. My father recently died on Christmas day. I hope this shuts her up. But no, she asks ""Was he here in Houston?"" Olga, I don't choose a hair salon so I can be peppered with questions about my personal business. What's worse, she rushed through the haircut after this little exchange. Not even a blow dry. I got a $25 haircut for $48 in addition to the invasion of privacy. I'll never set foot in that store again. Cons: Ogla invaded my privacy & then rushed my haircut. more

I have been going to visible changes for over 10 yrs on and off, my dilemma was anytime i got comfortable with a stylist or colorist they moved or would quit. Although on occassion I would receive a bad cut or color i would always end up going back after trying someplace new. My search is finally over, i read all the reviews on liz and how amazing she is and it is soooo very true. She is such a sweetheart and listened to exactly what i wanted and delivered. i wanted to go for the non-streaky highlights, natural, and with slight pop color without frying my hair and she did it. I will never go to anyone else even though i will have to drive 45 mins each time its worth it. For my cut if it helps i had angie, i will admit i didn't like it at first(but that's how i usually am) but i have gotten numerous compliments and now love it. Thank you staff. last note get your hair washed by arthur, amazing scalp massage. Pros: friendly people, clean atmosphere, and great experience Cons: that i didn't find them sooner more

Not impressed 1/13/2010

I recently moved to Houston and have been having the most difficult time finding a colorist. Based on the reviews on here, I gave into all the hype about April. I went to get my hair highlighted and she was friendly. I told her what I wanted and then she began her work. However, it seemed like she became more and more concerned with what other colorists around her were doing with their clients rather than focusing on my hair. She also kept having secret talks with other colorists, leaving me just waiting. During all this, I believe she completely forgot to take into account what I had wanted. I would also like to mention that once my hair was done, another VC employee took me to the dryer and checked on my hair. April was gone with another client and did not bother to check up on me until I went and found her once my hair was dry. Needless to say, I was not impressed by her work or lack of professionalism. I will not be returning to her. EDIT: If you are new in town and have struggled to find a good colorist, I suggest you try Sami at Touch of Red. She is wonderful and I get compliments on my color every single day. My search has finally ended. more

liz is the absolute best colorist! i came in unsure of how i wanted my hair colored and highlighted, she was very helpful in giving me ideas and ways she could make the look i wanted work. i have to say that id been to other salons and had others do my hair but my hair was never truly done the way i imagined it or dreamed for it to be. of all the places and stylists/colorists ive been to she gave me the best experience. i loved how excited she got with me about my hair when it turned out. liz is a sweetheart i recommend her to everyone! :D more

I Love my Stylist, Ariana 11/3/2009

I had been all over town trying to find a stylist that I could trust with my hair, ask for hair advise from and know it was not going to be a big deal every time I needed a touch up. I found that in my stylist Ariana. Its been over a year that I have seen her on a regular basis and my friends have started to go to her also! I would suggest her to everyone< very friendly, focused and attentive to detail. She is awesome!! Pros: Easy to make appointments, Easy to get to Cons: Parking a little difficult, but worth it more

The best Hair Colorist/Stylist to go to 10/28/2009

Everytime I go to get my hair dyed from Black to Blonde, Liz is the person i go to. She has always given her honest opinion and done the best work ive seen. No matter how much of a challenge i present her with, she never falls short!. She has a great eye for choosing a color that is both in my interest and do-able. I've been to dozens of Colorists before and never felt fully satisfied but now I am.\r \r Whenever i need to get a new ""do"" Gabe is the guy for the job!!! He always knows the latest trends and styles and cuts my hair to suit my image. He is great at teaching me how to style my hair and when i walk out of Visible Changes i always feel much more confident. \r \r Thanks Gabe & Liz!!!! For a highlight or color choose Lauren! 9/22/2009

My first experience at Visible Changes was with Lauren, the chemical specialist. It was the day before my sister's wedding and I was in desperate need of a highlight. My usual hair stylist was out of town because it was Christmas break so I had to find somewhere to go. Lauren is the one who ended up coloring my hair and she did such a great job that I have never returned to my previous hair dresser. I recommend her to anyone looking for a great chemical specialists! more

I love this salon because I always leave happy. I don't have to worry about my hair color results because Liz makes me look lovely every visit. My haircuts are always perfect thanks to Gabriel. This pair is the best! more
