I have been visiting Veronica regularly for some time now and have found it to be the most friendly and comforting experience. About 10 years ago I gathered up the courage to get my first brazilian wax. I searched for years for someone to wax me. I also had some serious skin problems in my mind. I found Veronica on MidTownGrid, and was attracted by the fact that she does not double dip. I was really nervous about getting a Brazilian, having heard how much it hurts, as well as having someone ""down there."" I was instantly put at ease by the decore in her office and by her pleasant manner. The Brazilian did not hurt and her mannerisms put me at ease. She is so pleasant. I started getting my legs and underarms waxed as well. Then I bought a series of facials. We sat down and talked about what bothered me about my skin, the acne scars, blackheads, breakouts, and lack of skin clarity. We talked about what I am comfortable doing in my skin treatments. So far, I have had two chemical peels. I have had microderm abrasion. She gets out my blackheads. I have had moisturizing masks. The first chemical peel made me a bit dry for a date that I had over the weekend (poor planning on my part, I had been warned), so she had me come in and do another moisturizing mask, which cleared up any dryness in time for my date. She makes you feel better about yourself too. I also purchased the best make up that I have ever seen there. I brought a line of moisturizers and cleansers that are so gentle and continue the treatments at home. When the weather changed, and my hands started to suffer from the cold, I got some hand lotion and have not had a problem since. The products all work well together and are extremely gentle. I have instructions on how and when to use what. I am confident in my at-home skin care regiment. Everything is clean and professional and calming. I am more confident, my acne scars are dimished, and I have been getting a lot of compliments on how clear my skin has become. She works with your schedule and is very understandable about schedule changes (but give her 48 hours notice at least). It is within walking distance from work. Pros: Everything more

This was the best facial I've ever had, the last person I went to for a facial really hurt my face when they did the extractions. When I left their office my face was red and puffy. I told Veronica my concerns and she said not to worry I am gentle! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with her. My skin has felt refreshed and renewed ever since I've been going to her. I love the way she waxes my eyebrows, you can tell that she is really an expert in her field and cares about her client. I love her microdermabrasion machine its a miracle worker. I would go so far as to call her the ""skin whisperer"". If you havent booked an appointment yet you should it will the best experience of your life!!! more

I found Veroncia through this site. I called her and she got me in the same day for waxing lip and eyes. Her shop is very clean and has a serene atmosphere. When I arrived she was very warm and welcoming, getting me some water and a nice plate of fruit. \r She did my brows first and then on the my lip! I was worried because I always break out on my lip after a wax, but Veroncia did a wonderful job and she has a product that you can apply afterwards that helps calm the skin.\r I would highly recommend Veronica. I know that our skin is the largest organ on the human body, but I never felt it until Veronica gave me a facial. I left her place ""feeling my skin."" I was very reluctant to try a new salon when I moved to Sacramento, but when I found Veronica I will never go see anyone else. She is professional, calming, and listens to your wants and needs. She knows what she is doing! My eyebrows have never looked so good, and there is no pain! She is educated on all her products and helps you out if you are looking for something new. I have recently moved to Los Angeles, and I make a trip home once a month and go see Veronica, because she is simply the BEST! Veronica's awesome. I've been seeing her for at least two years now? But it feels like forever. I used to strictly do waxing and she always made me feel so comfortable. Then I got hooked on her facials. I was never one to pamper myself like that, but she helped me see that it's something I benefit from greatly. Veronica helped me redo my skin completely! I had 6 series of chemical peels for my acne and it completely resurfaced and polished my skin to looking like it never has before. She polishes me off by grooming my brows and eliminating all other unwanted hair. He treatments have amazing results and she is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met.
