DON'T DO IT! I had my wedding dress altered at this place and it was a disaster! For starters... NEVER get your wedding dress (or anything else) altered at a cleaners... go to an alteration specialist. Cleaners don't specialize in alterations and with your wedding dress - you don't want to take any chances. This lady has been doing wedding dress alterations for decades and needs to RETIRE! She obviously can't see what she's doing and/or has forgotten how to correctly complete an alteration. She's lazy, unprofessional and not friendly. Did I forget to mention over-priced? more

3 months ago I was looking online for reviews to find the best dry cleaning place to have my wedding dress cleaned and boxed. I decided to call the shop where I bought my dress and they recommended this place. Although it is quite far from where I live (about 30 minutes drive), I decide to give it a try. When I arrived at the store, the lady told me that as it was a busy period, it would take 4 to 8 weeks for my dress to be cleaned and boxed. She also told me that they would call me as soon as the dress will be ready to be picked up. Great!...I thought. 7 weeks later, as I was driving nearby, I decided to go & inquire about my dress. The lady in the dry cleaning place looked everywhere for my dress: at the boxes laying on the floor at the entrance, in the 2 rooms located in the back, and finally told me that she couldn't find my dress, which meant it wasn't ready yet. I told her it was all right, since I came in 1 week early. She told me not to worry about my dress and again, insisted that they will call me as soon as the dress will be ready...""That's fine with me!"" Five weeks pass by, and no phone call from them. As I'm scared that they might get rid of my dress if I don't pick it up within 3 months, i decide to give them a call to inquire about my dress: ""- Hi, I would like to know if my wedding dress is ready for pick up?, I asked. And I give the lady my name. - Sorry, your dress is not ready yet, but we'll give you a call as soon as it is!, the lady answered. - But it's already been 3 months! -Let me take a look...I can't find your dress. Leave me your phone number and i'll call you as soon as I have more information. - Ok."" 4 hours later, no call. I called back and she told me she was sorry and was just about to call me to tell my dress wasn't ready yet. It was in the second store (where they supposedly do all the cleaning) and would be there on monday. This time, I told her to call me AS SOON as the dress will be ready for pick up on monday. Saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday...How surprising, nobody called. On wednesday, I decided to call. Another lady picked up and told me my dress was in the store: cleaned but NOT BOXED YET. Since i was worried about what might have happened to my dress (a lot of lace), I told her not to box it. I went to pick up my dress a few hours later. Since I was very unhappy with my experience with them, I asked the lady if at least they could give me a commercial gesture (a discount) for the drama, the 4-week late. She didn't want to give me a discount & just told me they were late because my dress was especially dirty in the bottom... They can't admit making a mistake! She told me she would be glad to have it boxed for me for the full price if i changed my mind. ( I paid $85 for the cleaning and would have to add $65 to have it boxed). By the way, strangely, my dress was returned in the same plastic bag I brought it with...I don't know if this is normal since it is supposed to be very clean before put into the decontaminated box. My WORSE dry cleaning experience ever. Spare yourself such trouble! Cons: No organization, bad customer service more

Very over priced. They charge twice if not more what other alterations shops charge. Be warned. She also didnt go over the pricing. If i knew a very simple belt alteration was going to be $25 i wouldnt have done it. It should have been $10 at the very most. I asked her if this charge was for short notice &/or the rush job & she said no, its thier normal fees! Although, I am thankful they did my dress on short notice, the work was not the best. The dress was about 2-3 inches too long, (although we pinned it higher, right at my knees) There were loose threads & stitching around the waist and pinched fabric. If I wasnt wearing a larger belt with this dress, I would have requested them to redo it... But as I said, it was a rush. They had 7 days to hem & take in the dress & shorten & take in a fabric belt. Customer service wasnt the best either. I stood in the lobby for about 10 minutes... The seamstress in the back saw me and just ignored me... I waited... & waited... and after abot 10 min of me pacing... (i was on my lunch break, so i had a schedule to keep and i was there on time for my appointment) the seamstress finally gave me a dismissive, ""she'll be up for you in a moment"" and promptly went back to sewing... I should have left then... I honestly thought about it... But I didnt trust my instincts. Pros: Did a rush job. Cons: OVER PRICED! Did not explain pricing. Poor service & work more

Norma was so patient and attentive with my wedding dress, even though I changed my mind on what a wanted. After requesting a french bustle, I asked her to cut the train off my gorgeous dress, which she was hesitant to do, but honored my request and did a beautiful job making the embroidery along the bottom blend in. The dress fit me so well and was so easy to move around in after her work, that I felt so much more excited about feeling comfortable on my wedding day. She also recommended a few adjustments to make it more convenient to get into and out of, and they worked beautifully. I would trust her to clean or alter any of my best clothes. She was also very accommodating with scheduling alterations for myself and my bridesmaids, as well as holding the dresses for us to pick up freshing pressed right before the wedding.
