Extensive knowledge of BMW cars. Feel like I'm in the most capable hands when I bring my vehicle to Vanguard. Both Gary and Paula are a walking encyclopedia of the cars, and it's really impressive in that they are great diagnosticians. The work is carried out very well, and quickly. It's also quite a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with not a lot of cars jammed in at once. Like a well run medical office. Couldn't be better! more

I always walk out of Vanguard motors a little more knowledgeable about my car than when I walked in. Gary takes the time to explain what he's done and more importantly, why. Paula is great in the office with scheduling and billing and is always in a great mood! more

I am delighted to have found Vanguard Motors. My 1979 911SC Targa loves going there when it needs some attention. 7/5/2012

I was referred to Vanguard Motors by another client when I acquired my 1979 911 SC Targa. That was in 2001. Gary knows exactly what my car needs and it PM ensures that my car is always running at peak performance. They have also recommended me to other service providers such as for alarms, radio and interior. Their recomendations are perfect. What is really important is that they not only know how to take care of my car but they also understand my love for my car and treat me as part of the family. One time my car had to be towed to their place due to a break in my gas line and they waited for me way past closing hours. That is service. The best 6/11/2012

I had been taking my 1997 Boxster to Gary and Paula and company since 2003. They are very fair priced (way better than any other Porsche place to which I've compared), competent and up-to-date, offer options when any exist, and very personable and trustworthy. They are also very accommodating for those quick repairs (headlamp out, etc). One of the reasons I chose to buy another (2007) Boxster was that I knew that I had the best of mechanics to back up my purchase. I know that I'm raving here, but excellent service deserves some raving!! more

Fantastic, trustworthy service 6/5/2012

I am a repeat customer and have never been dissatisfied with my experience. Gary and his team are extremely knowledgeable about BMWs and have never needed more than a day to make a repair. They are consistent and fair in price, as well as nice people to deal with. I highly recommend them for any BMW repairs. more

Gary and Paula are experienced BMW repair professionals. After getting hosed by the dealer (sonnen) once too often, discovered Vanguard. They are dedicated to providing excellent service, trustworthy (recommended against several preventative measures that had been recommended by Sonnen) and the car is still in great condition 5 years after Sonnen would have done more than $5,000.00 worth of unnecessary repair work. I trust them and follow their recommendations. They do not create work, nor do they perform unnecessary repairs. I would wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend them for BMW repairs. more

Ihave been going to Vanguard Motors for almost 12 years, as long as i have have my 1970 911 SC Porsche. I would recommend and I do recommend them to anyone who has a Porsche or a BMW. 6/5/2012

Vanguard Motors was referred to me by a previous client of theres who had a Porsche. When i bought my Porsche in 2001, I asked him where he took his car and he said to "Gary at Vanguard Motors." Been going there ever since. His knowledge of my vehicle's needs and what and when service needs to be provided is invaluable. I trust him completely to work on my car. What i also like is that i can ask him exactly what he is doing and why, so that i can learn, and he anwersall my questions. This has enabled me to learn to "listen" to my car. more

Was referred by a friend 12 years ago - emphasis was on honesty and integrity.... I have experienced nothing but - including outstanding service and same day assistance when needed. Gary is amazing - his honesty and knowledge is a rare combination in this industry. more

Accommodating and great communicators. 6/1/2012

Vanguard Motors are always willing to listen to what you say. They'll give you good advice on what you should do, and not tell you what you need to do. They won't make repairs without first talking to you. They will call you on a regular basis to inform you about the work going on. Also, they are very accommodating and work around your schedule. Paula and Gary are always great. They'll call you themselves if the situation changes. I've never had any problems with this shop. I highly recommend them to anybody. more

Vanguard Motors is a excellent german auto repair facility 6/1/2012

I own a couple of older model Bmws and recently had a issue with one of the cars transmission.The car was repaired without issue and now performs better than my expectations. Having your car serviced and repaired at Vanguard Motors is not a chore but a pleasure . The people at Vanguard Motors are extremely knowledgeable of auto repair and proper car care.Five stars more

The folks at Vanguard Motors love BMW's....my car has never been happier. Everything is super professional --- from checkin to check out, I am totally satisfied with my car's primary "Physicians". They take the time to explain all the findings, provide options for repair and maintanence, and do what they say for a reasonable price. more

Best car repair business I have ever known! 5/31/2012

Vanguard Motors is hands down the best car repair company I have ever known. Their work is always excellent, their charges appropriate, and I totally trust their counsel on what my car needs. I have been taking my 1994 BMW to them for the past four years and they keep it running in top shape and I trust them to let me know when it is time to retire the car. And when you call and Paula answers, don't stereotype, she can answer any question you have about your car. more

I started using Vanguard in the 80's Gary is a great diagnostician, explains things very well and always looks to save money if problems don't deserve a fix! Who does that? more
