Vacuum Center

This guy is a joke, liar, and scammer. \r \r I took my Dyson in to be serviced since their website claims they are certified Dyson repair techs. He informed me that they dont sell the parts my 1 year old Vacuum needed in order to be fixed. He placed a call to someone who confirmed this theory over the phone. I was then told that my vacuum was basically a piece of crap, handed a flyer for HIS vacuums and told I should buy one of those. \r \r So feeling like I was going to have to buy a new vacuum I decided I should call Dyson to make sure that this was in fact the case and that I couldnt get parts to fix my issue. Dyson informed me that all their vacuums come with a 5 year warranty, they set me up with Dr Carls out in greece and the vacuum is being fixed.\r \r DO NOT GO TO VACUUM CENTER. more

\r That's what you can expect from dealing with this guy, or at least is my experience. He'll bait and switch, guarantee, and is happy to be the jolly fat guy (literally), but when you demand he stand by his word/guarantee after a sale, you'll see his true colors come out. This is a small, very small, kind of sketchy, deserves to be in the ghetto, and probably soon to be nonexistent business. You've been warned. \r \r I have heard of a supposedly reputable vacuum repair guy out in the village of fairport. Never used him, but was recommended when I told someone of this experience. I've been there a couple of times in the past year with (what I call) oddball vaccuum requests, and he's either had what I needed right there or ordered it for me. Plus, he's really a nice guy, or he's got me totally snowed:-) No complaints whatsoever, and highly recommend.\r \r But, like anything else ""oddball"" these days, you pay for it:-( But in that regard, he's just like everyone else, so it was expected, and so not a problem. And I'd rather pay and have it taken care of. Still, that's the ONLY reason why I gave him 4 stars and not 5. Pros: He really knows his suk! Cons: You have to pay for his suk. more
