My wife and I recently made the painful decision to put our 8 year old Cane Corso mastiff down; after watching him fight pnuemonia for almost a year. We called VCA to make the appt last week, and they asked when would be good for us...(getting tougher here), we scheduled the appt for sat 10/29/11. So we go there and the receptionist takes our info and they escort us into a room, and proceed to ask us a battery of Q's about his health (really tough). So after about 10 minutes Dr. Talaga comes in and proceeds to Question us, and exam our dog (my breaking point); after 10 minutes of this my wife asks if she knows why we are there. We had to tell her that we were there to put him down after his battle with poor health. The Dr. takes our dog into the other room and they escort us to the "goodbye" room, a minute later they send the receptionist to settle our bill before our dogs departure..at a time when my only concern was with my dog.\r
they made a tough day, impossible.
