I have visited this place a couple of times since it changed hands. (It is within walking distance of my home.) I could say that it is almost worth the highly limited selection of pastries and way-too-soft bread, but I wouldn't be telling the truth. Ultimately though, it is the appallingly poor-quality and ill-mannered service by the front shopkeepers that has got me driving to an alternate bakery. more

Best cookies & morning pasteries 10/26/2006

This bakery has a really friendly and hardworking staff. Plus, their chocolate chip cookies are sooo good! Highly recommend the cookies and the coffee cakes. The drip coffee isn't bad either. Pros: Their Chocolate Chip Cookies are the best! Cons: Parking in Magnolia Village is always scarce and sometimes they run out of chocolate chip cookies :-( more
