Best

One of the best colleges that I have ever heard of. There majors account for so much in the business industry and the law school is amazing and difficult to not only get into, but...

Worst

All reviews seem positive

Eh. 8/8/2007

The quality of instruction in both Undergrad and Graduate programs is pretty good. But either way, the school is very expensive. The career services offices try hard, but are often lack resources to help student find employment upon graduation. By "lacking resources," I don't just mean cash, but alumni connections, community clout, and school reputation.\r \r The Undergrad and Engineering schools have good rankings. Other programs? Not so much, but NOT because the instruction level is lacking. The law school is ranked as fourth tier (out of five), though the quality of instruction is on par with other schools, but the ability to help graduates find jobs is lacking. more

Questionable return on investment 11/6/2005

If you're a local kid who wants to stay very close to home, TU is a good choice if money isn't an issue. Money will not rain down from the financial aid office. TU is a private university and most students will have to pay for that distinction. Despite the higher costs, neither the quality of instruction nor available resources are better than OU, on the whole. Some courses of study at TU are superior to those at the public universities. Most aren't. Whatever your intended course of study, do your research first. You'll probably find that paying more to attend TU will not show a commensurate return on the investment. more

Great college, but not cheap. 9/3/2005

One of the best colleges that I have ever heard of. There majors account for so much in the business industry and the law school is amazing and difficult to not only get into, but to go through. The only problem with this college is that they are so expensive, not many people could afford this more

Best education... and a great financial aid package! 8/5/2005

When applying to colleges in High School, I was initially scared by TU's price tag. I later realized... NO ONE pays full price! There's so much scholarship money to go around, I would up paying less than I would have going to OU. TU's small class sizes are really great. I'm 3 years out of school, and am still friends with some of my teachers. They're there to really coach you... not just thru the class, but thru college, and into the real world. Their career center is top-notch. The can hook you up with jobs with dozens of Fortune 500 companies... and you're a PERSON, not a number like at OU (where my sister goes). Anyway, I recomend anyone from the Tulsa area to apply to TU, and check out their financial aid. I'm betting you'll be pleasently surprised. more

T.U. Grad Gives Props! 6/3/2005

I graduated form The University of Tulsa in December 2002 after three and a half years. My major was Mass Communications, Minor was Marketing, and a Certificate in Visual Communications. T.U. has great teachers who take their time to listen to your concerns, excellent greek life, tons of extra-curricualar activities, and a great TV/Radio station/Newspaper, The T.U. Collegian. They are a bit on the expensive side, but worth the money, trust me!!! Now, I work as a columnist, but I will always remember the wonderful times I had at T.U. GO T.U.!!! more
