I was so insecure and self conscious about my breasts after breast feeding for a year. I lost all volume to my breast tissues leaving me completely devastated. Four years ago Dr. Vu came highly recommended by a friend who had had her upper eye lids done. Given the fact that she is Vietnamese and she looks absolutely fabulous, I decided to consult with Dr. Vu. I live in Austin Texas and Dr. Vu is located in Sugarland, Texas near Houston, Sugarland is located 3 hours away from where I live. Since I was so impressed with my friends results I schedule an appointment and met with Dr. Vu, 2 weeks later. I decided to proceed with getting my upper eye lids done. I was incredibly satisfied with my results, especially when I met with a friend who has had her eye lids done two weeks prior; she seemed very bruised and swollen. I had none of this. As a matter of fact, my procedure was done 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and my family never even noticed.I had never really considered any facial procedures, however, with aging gravity takes its toll with wrinkles, jowls and the sagging in the neck area, so I did some research on plastic surgeons in the Austin area (since Dr. Vu 3 hours away,) I resolved to consult with a plastic surgeon which would be convenient for us to travel to. I found a plastic surgeon is a specialist in facial procedures only in the Austin area. I had a consultation with him and I did not feel confident to the answers he would provide, and I felt rushed. I left this plastic surgeon office and in the car I called Dr. Vu. I spoke with Debbie, and she actually remembered me from 4 years ago. I made an appointment and a few weeks later I made the 3 trip to Sugarland to meet with Dr. Vu. He was candid with me. He told me I would be swollen, I would have some bruising and all the things associated with a mini face lift. Dr. Vu was full disclosure. The doctor I had consulted with in Austin had indicated that he had patients that were out and about the next day. I suppose the Austin plastic surgeon would only tell you the truth about how youll look and feel after you put a deposit down and then there is no turning back. Dr. Vu recommended a full face lift and after some consideration, my husband and I decided it would be the better then a mini. The surgery went well, and even though I had to go back and forth to Sugarland, I am extremely happy with the result even though its only been 2 weeks. I was not concerned when I saw or felt something out of the originally since Dr. Vu had explained everything that I would experience. Knowing what to expect made the experience better for me. On my last follow up with Dr. Vu, I asked him about getting my under eyes done, he looked and said. You don't need it, and I won't do surgery when it's not necessary.""The trip from our house to Houston is long, so if you live in Houston, consider yourself lucky that you have Dr. Vu close by. If you live further away, the trip to Houston is well worth the expertise you will undoubtedly receive from Dr. Vu. I cant believe friends and co-workers reactions to the fantastic results I received, after just two weeks. I am still a bit swollen but I have had so many compliments on how good I looked that I began to wonder why I waited so long to do it in the first place. If you feel like looking your best, go to Dr. Vu. And I guarantee you will not be disappointed. He definitely has a ""Magic Wand"". more

I studied the procedures that I wanted, upper and lower eye lids, full face lift & chin for two years and interviewed several surgeons before deciding to go with Dr. Vu. Tomorrow will be exactly 4 weeks since he performed all the procedures and frankly? I look marvelous and more importantly, I FEEL marvelous!! At 53 and after a massive 180 lb. weight loss that takes a lot! :) Study up on the procedures you want; ask questions, ""what type of sedation""; ""do you need an Anesthesiologist or who will administer the drugs:?? Question everything and learn because ultimately it's your responsibility. Dr. Vu described the surgery in greater detail than any other doctor and I left feeling very comfortable. He did a great job...I don't look like I had all this work done which is what I wanted! more

I had eyelids surgery done by Dr. Vu 8 weeks ago. He did a fantastic job on my upper and lower eyelids. The amazing part was that I had no pain at all after surgery. I am very happy with the results. My eyes look very natural. No more extra skin and puffy eyes... more

I had breast augmentation in Hawaii 2 years ago. I was not happy with the size and shape of my breast. Since I want to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Houston, I made a call to ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons). They referred me to Dr. Vu. more

I drove to Houston from Dallas for my breast augmentation. I didn?t mind the driving because I trusted Dr. Vu?s work. I stayed with my cousin in Houston (whom also had her breast done by Dr. Vu last year) to recuperate. She was a great help since she had gone through it before. A week after surgery, I went back for check-up before going home. Everything was fine and the nurse showed me how to massage my breasts. My follow-up visit was scheduled for few weeks later. What matters the most to me was my breasts look great! I was very pleased with the result. more

When it comes to Plastic Surgery, I am very choosy in finding my surgeon. I had eyelids surgery done by Dr. Vu five years ago and I am still very happy with the result. more

Tummy Tuck or Liposuction of the abdomen? That was the question that I wasn't sure of until I consulted with Dr. Vu. All I know was after years of exercising, I was not able to get rid of the big lump of fat from my tummy. It bothers me all these years but I keep postponing it until a friend of mine referred me to this wonderful and experienced surgeon. Since I have a lot of loose skin, Tummy Tuck would be the procedure for me. I used to worry about the recovery time, the scar, the pain and time off from work.... but nothing can stop me this time because I was very convinced after visiting Dr. Vu, his staff and his facility. more

So I was naive and young and trusted most things i heard. I was recommended to Dr. Tuan A. Vu by my aunt and at the age of 18 asi ignorant dived into his facility and got my first nose job in 2002. He charged 3600 for a bridge and to cut the two alar sides. The job was satisfactory at the time however it was slanted; not to mention overcharged. Nonetheless I had to attend college, UT Austin, and did not have time to re fix this. So four years past and by the time i graduated and came back to Houston, I came back to him to get it fixed. He at the time charged me more money to fix something he should not have messed up originally. Well to my NIGHTMARE, he added a SECOND bridge on top of the FIRST bridge(implant). Meaning, two implants in my nose. what is that about? I look like i was Iran/Iran and i am a Vietnamese 23 years old. After that procedure, I seriously aged 10 years and i looked very very mean and scary. So anyway, i came back and he was rude and so was his staff. He told me he doesnt do reconstructive surgeries and if he did, it would cost about another 4 grand. Well when i threatened to take legal actions, he actually did something about it. He finally removed the two implants from my nose and replaced it with a new one. Now my nose is sore and i am waiting of my fourth one and it still looks too long. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. I regretted referring him to my friend, who also got three nose jobs and two eye jobs from this guy, of which was all messed up (hence the multiple times because he messed up the first time). The sad part is that he does not care and has a bad attitude. Please dont go to him if you are first time. He does not care and is extremely incompetent. Did I mention i used to work for his office when i was 18 so i know all of office dynamics and how he operates. Worst nightmare any girl can have. DO NOT GO TO HIM. I WARN YOU!!!!!!!!!! Pros: He speaks fluent English and Vietnamese Cons: He does not care about his patients and does not fix something hes messed up more
