Love Love Love Candace. When I met her, my hair was short and a red-from-a-box mess. Now, she has not only gotten my hair back to my natural color with no more dye needed, but she has my hair in the best condition it has ever been in by showing me new products. She is my hair doctor and I will never leave! Plus, she stands by her work and if there is ever a new experiment you don't end up liking, she will fix it for free any time.\r \r And Candace and I share books...she is so much fun to chat with! more

Candace is amazing! 2/19/2012

I have seen Candace at True Color twice now and she has been wonderful. I first went in for a consult and we discussed my goals and expectations with absolutely no pressure. I really felt like she was focused on suggesting the best options for me and she did a great job of explaining everything. I returned for a conditioning treatment and cut / style. Candace was great about showing me step by step what she was doing so that I could repeat the process at home and get the same results. I love that she is willing to work with me so I am confident about styling my own hair. She definitely listens to what I want and delivers great results. more

I will never leave Kira! 1/24/2012

I have lived in Nashville my whole life, and have always had trouble keeping a stylist....until I met Kira! I started going to her about 3 years ago, after yet another bad experience with a different salon in Nashville. She rescued me! I would bounce around to different salons, trying new people, and products, but when Kira started doing my hair, I never even considered leaving. I have very thick, unruly hair, that is difficult for even the most talented stylist to tame, but Kira fixes me up as if it were nothing! I also have a very indecisive nature, and like to change my look alot. Its no problem for her, she can give any person any style that they want. Even better than her immense talent is her business ethic. She is one of the nicest, most professional, and fair stylists out there. No hidden charges, or fees for extra product used, and she always lets me know about any deals that may be going on! I will stick with Kira as long we live in the same place, and you should too! more

Best stylist ever! 12/22/2011

Candace is a wonderful stylist. She took the time to discuss with me what I wanted to do with my hair and what her thoughts were on what would work well for my desired style. She never rushed me and was perfectly content to spend the needed time to make sure that I was happy with my cut. She is extremely passionate about her work and it shows. I highly reccomend her services, you will not be disappointed! more

Well I can since I have been to True Color and had my hair did by Candace! I love this girl, she is so awesome and thorough and I left feeling like a million dollars. Candace has been doing my hair for a while, and I followed her from the ""other place"" to this salon and I feel like I walked into a true salon when I walked into this place! It has so much charm, warmth and character an I felt right at home...the true asset to this place though is Candace, she is a jewel and rare to find such a good hair stylist that listens and really knows her stuff to be able to recommend just the right thing and it to turn out perfectly! Truth is I love the new location for my girl, but I would follow her wherever she goes! more

I have had the pleasure of having my hair done by both Candace and Kira, and honestly, every time I leave I feel as if saying 'thank-you' isn't enough! They are both experts in their field and really grasp what it means to be a woman, sitting in a chair, and handing the fate of your hair over into someone's hands! Getting your hair done is a very personal experience and something we don't take lightly! Well, neither do Candace and Kira! They mean business! You have the atmosphere that is condusive to a very trendy, boho chic with a modern flair big city salon...but you get the service of extreme professionals! I have nothing but amazing things to say about True Color! Candace did my hair just a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE it! She gave me exactly what I wanted and that is what matters...their guests leave with exactly what they wanted and more. Confidence! How many places can one go where your stylist is not only your stylist, but a cheerleader for you as well?! True Color. True Color salon is just as the headline reads...so good. Everything about my experience with True Color has been outstanding from the location to the parking to the end result. Candace is a total sweetheart and really listens and hears what you want. My hair has never looked better or more importantly, healthier. That alone tells me she knows exactly what she's doing. Good times! 12/12/2011

I've been going to Candace for a while now and I always love my time in her chair. Not only does she do a fabulous job with cuts, she does an awesome job with color. When I go in I always have an idea of what I want, but I'm so indecisive sometimes, that I can't be specific. Candace listens to my ideas and runs with them, always making sure that what she's doing is cool with me. I have never been disappointed. She is truly an artist...and she's freaking hilarious while she's creating her masterpieces. Thanks Candace for all you do! more

I came to Kira in need of some serious repair after a bad experience at another salon, and she took the time to correct the mistakes and make it look better than ever. Great location, great prices, and above all, a great stylist, and an amazing colorist!! I wish I had known about her sooner! True Color salon is in an awesome old building with cool decor. Very cozy and relaxing. more

LOVE TRUE COLOR! 12/4/2011

I have been going to Kira for about 2 years, and she has always given me the most perfect color + haircuts. I like this salon so much better than her previous locations...the private rooms are perfect and so much nicer than the giant crowded salon. Kira really takes her time and listens to give you exactly what you want. She is truly a perfectionist in her work and I feel certain you can't find a better stylist in the city...plus great prices too!! more

True Color Salon is the most laid-back, yet stylish salon that I have been to in years. I love the privacy of the separate rooms and Candace is the most amazing hair stylist I have ever had! She takes the time to listen to what your needs are and makes sure to give you exactly what you want. She is a color expert and does amazing things with my naturally dark hair. She is also the best hair washer and you will leave her chair feeling like you just had a massage. I look forward to my cuts and color with Candace as if I were going for a spa treatment. She is also so fun and easy to talk to. The location is ideal and away from the traffic of the Green Hills salons. I will continue to enjoy the awesome treatment I receive at True Color Salon! more

Best hairstylist I have ever had!! 11/16/2011

I have been having my haircut and styled by Kira for over 3 years. She is by far and away the best stylist I have ever encountered anywhere. I have never been dissatified with my haircut or color. \r \r Kira knows hair and it shows from her work. What really impressed me as well is that she continues to further her education with regards to style, color, and cut. She has attended numerous seminars in NYC to further her skills and truly master the trade. She is already a RedKen master colorist.\r \r On a personal note, Kira is fun, relaxed, and easy to talk to during the appointments. She always has funny stories to share.\r \r I have the utmost confidence in Kira, and at this point, would be extremely hesitant to let anyone else cut or color my hair. You will not be disappointed in her skills! \r more

True Color Salon is above and beyond in a league of its own! I have been to several of the up scale salons in the Nashville area (I'm sure lots of you have) in search of that perfect stylist. KIRA has not only mastered the art of color, but she gives the best cut and style as well...she's the total package!!... And the scalp massage she gives when she washes my hair is to die for!! KIRA gives my natural dark locks that beautiful natural blonde look that I've always wanted. My hair has never looked or felt healthier. My mom once told me, ""You finally found someone who knows what they're doing!"" KIRA will make you look and feel like a million bucks without paying those outrageous prices.\r \r The salon itself is so cozy that you won't want to leave. The hardwood floors, tall ceilings, the lighting, and beautiful fireplace make me wish I were wearing my pj's! Actually I probably could since KIRA has her own private room where she works. And there's even a flat screen tv for my own personal viewing!!\r \r So if you want the best color, cut, style, atmosphere, friendly, down to earth and welcoming people please visit True Color Salon.
