This place has consistently been the worst restaurant I have been to in my life - no joke. I'm not just putting a bad review out there as a one time bad experience guest - instead I'm forced to go there at least once a week due to my type of work. I'm from Ann Arbor which has real restaurants as compared to Lansing where you have to drive to a food truck to find something edible. Consistently the meal is a let down. My son can cook better food and he's not even a teenager. The service is mediocre but completely eclipsed by horrible, low quality, no love, no inspiration food. The bar is empty all the time. The building looks like a chain restaurant from a big city but when you actually get inside you see little furnishing faults all over the place from peeling wallpaper to a trim falling off.
Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else! Heck, eat at a chain restaurant at least it's consistently mediocre which is better than you can expect from Troppo.
