This place has class written all over it. Leather sofas in the common areas, beautiful architecture. The stores there are also a bit on the higher end to suit the expected customer base. If you don't dress well, you may feel out of place; we did. Around Christmas, it's great to window shop. The mall decorates the common areas very well and there was even a pianist and quartet one year to add a very nice atmosphere. more

I feel that this mall just takes up a lot of space. It is so high class and ritzy that many people do not shop there. Their marketing aim is for middle-aged *extremely rich* women. It has a nice clean feel about it, but the design of the mall isn't the best--there is really no flow. The best part of the mall is Todai, this Japanese buffet style--fairly pricey, but yum! more

This mall is always empty. I have even heard rumors that it will close soon. It has the Plano/Frisco "I am better than you" attitude about it. The prices are kind of high, but not outrageous. This mall does have great parking. You can always find a good place to park. They also have covered parking which is nice. more

The Shops at Willowbend is a different sort of mall. They've gone to a great deal of trouble to create a themed, relaxing venue that is filled with relaxing sights and sounds. Overstuffed chairs and couches fill the open gathering areas and invite guests to take a load off and stay awhile. In the background, waterfalls and children make happy noises. Not your usual mall, the Shops at Willow Bend features high-dollar chains like Aveda, L'Occitane, and Escada. Anchor stores include Dillard's, Foley's, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. A softplay children's indoor playground and an adequate food court round out the mall experience for the whole family. Since I live closest to this mall, I only go if I want to go to the department stores. I haven't been there more than five times since it opened. Many of us in the surrounding areas don't pay through the nose when shopping. Yes, there are some lovely million-dollar homes near, but they're small compared to the rest of us. The food selection is limited. Two of the best parts -- the children's science musum and the Apple store. PROS: Target and Costco nearby, children's science museum, Apple store CONS: Not many stores of use to the average customer more
