Best teacher I ever had 12/7/2012

I highly recommend this teacher if you are looking to start learning or further develop your skill sets. Plus the teacher is a great person to brainstorm with on musical ideas, as well picking out guitar equipment to work with. I just recently purchased a Breedlove Electric/Acoustic Guitar, which was originally recommended and at the time I was not 100% sure, but man the guitar is beautiful and it plays splendidly. It was an excellent recommendation and pick. more

The teacher begins the lessons by asking you what you want to learn, where you're coming from and how you'd like to proceed, how much time you have to practice and tailors the lessons and recommendations to what you can do, without ever making you feel guilty for being out of practice and if you're busy like me, that's much appreciated. more

This teacher is great 11/30/2012

This teacher is great; I started taking lessons with him 8 months ago and have really enjoyed my time with him. I was a complete novice when I first started and didn't really know what to expect, given that I've never had a teacher before, but I have been very pleased with everything. The teacher creates custom lesson plans for me, and gives me new things to work on every time I come in. That said, I can't stress enough the importance of practicing on your own. No matter how great the teacher, you'll never get good without putting in the time. more
