The most that you can be charged to tow your car in CT is $88 for the first 2 mile then 4.50 per mile after that. As long that nothing else is needed ie; snatch blocks, extra winching etc. As for as AAA, the owner of Torrington 4 Wheel works for them. (AAA) I work for another tow company and have heard nothing good about T4WOR Do a lot of AAA towing in Torrington because they didn't awnser their phone or were to busy ( when all of their trucks are at the shop) more

the man they sent to tow my car was a…\r \r the man they sent to tow my car was a low life waste of life. a cop pulled me over literally a few houses away from mine. he wanted 75 to bring it less than 1 min to my house and apparently thought he was offering me a deal b/c he felt the need to say "anyone else would've charged you 95", yes it's ultimately my fault it got towed, but they can also use their discretion my apartment was about 15 feet away from where the cop stopped us. This company is run by crooks. He went out of his way to tow it knowing it would end up costing me more most likely in the end. Thanks assh****. Good things what goes around comes around\r more

Avoid tow truck service at all costs!!! tell AAA to send someone else 3/29/2008

Scary truck driver guy left me and pregnant wife stranded at a diner instead of towing us home. His excuse was that he had to be somewhere in the morning but it would have only taken 10 minutes to tow us home. He wouldnt hear of it and threw us out of the truck. I complained to AAA but I dont think there is much they can do. Cons: took forever to arrive over an hour more
