Went to a birthday party and a surprize ball was placed at each setting. What fun and delight with each turn of the ball, a little trinket appeared, then the core was a bottle of bubbles. Thank goodness the party was outdoors so we could blow bubbles to our hearts content; it was a terrific ice breaker for people who didn't know each other.
Tops Malibu sells these Bami Ballen Surprize Balls on their website at www.topsmalibu.com. The balls are available for all types of occasion, like birthday, wedding, anniversary, or just fun. They are 100 feet of paper ribbon filled with treasures. Back in the fifties, these "toys to destroy" were quite the rage and stores like FAO Schwartz on Fifth Avenue in New York city carried them. How chic!
Tops Malibu even makes custom surprise balls for special events and corporations. Terrific idea.
